Take time out of the sun to see this gem of a museum. We were given the opportunity to go on a tour with a docent - that's a guide with knowledge I'm thinking - and this is what made it so special. Our lady LOVED the art and was able to give us lots of information without inundating us.... More

I have been to the Palm Springs Art Museum a lot of times, maybe 15 or so, even though I don't live there. I was hooked when I first saw the Chihuly on the third flood (it is now in the sculpture garden) and I feel like I need to go back and visit it. I hope to have one... More

Small museum with extraordinary art. The sculptures were amazing. They do offer some free nights so check before you go!

Palm Springs may be a small town but the museum contains a surprisingly large number of excellent works by internationally renowned artists thanks, in large part, the the generous donations of a number of wealthy collectors who live in the area.

Saw a wonderful exhibition on glass, with collections from Australia and the US/Canada Northwest. Brilliant content and context. Most impressed. But also enjoyed the main collection which is truly eclectic.

Very nice art gallery, great work, quiet and cozy. I always take some time to strol over when everyone else is doing something else. Also for a great hike, go up the museum trail. By warned, museum trail is intense but I love it!

The exhibit is exceptional and well staffed with volunteers that not only know their stuff but experienced it. Located on the eastside of the Palm Springs Airport with easy access off Gene Autry Blvd.

A rainy day in Palm Springs? Where else to go? I'd say even on a nice day this is worth the stop. We have been here on two prior occasions and the exhibits have always been wonderful. The current glass exhibition is particularly well done. The variety and creativity of the glass on display is almost mind boggling. For the... More
