I was disappointed in this museum. Despite not being a typical museum person, I was intrigued to see this one because of all the beautiful art and colours of Palm Springs. Sadly, it is just a typical art museum. I would have liked to see more of a Palm Springs flavour.

Wonderful museum with a great permanent collection as well as an excellent temp one while we were there. Had a complimentary tour that was very informative. Can't recommend enough.

I am sure it is NOT terrible but that's the only choice I have! Looked like a terrific art museum. We were so bummed to find it closed for the month.

We went on the "Free Thursday"(4 - 8 PM) time. It is a nice layout with modern, classical, Meso-American, Western, and interesting exhibits. It's a casual two hours to get through most of the museum, but three or more hours seems a little bit more realistic to see it all.

Loved the building and the neighborhood. Parking lot is free, which is nice. Free Thurs evening 4-8 PM or all day second Sunday of the month. Taste and money at the crossroads plus a spectacular setting. Really exciting.

If the architecture of the building doesn't impress you, the art will. The variety of the art appealed to young and old in our group and we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. On Thursday evenings, it's free and there are many people who take advantage of it and then go over to Village Fest a block over. I highly recommend... More

Self tour of history and art. Beautiful building, helpful staff, super location near downtown. The museum offers movie night, walking distance to other attractions. I am not knowledgeable about art but enjoyed what i saw.
