Jaw dropping modern art collection--one of the best I have seen anywhere. Probably the finest art museum of any small city in the United States. Easily the most interesting thing in Palm Springs.

We lucked out with a wonderful docent tour of this gem of a museum. The museum has an eclectic collection. and I highly recommend joining a docent tour. The museum is close to downtown abd was only a short walk from our hotel (Casa Cody). Don't leave palm Springs without a visit,

Nice displays, free and well organized. It is really a pleasure to spend the time and admire the donations of so many people that collected art and now they share it with visitors in Palm Springs

A few world class pieces mixed with a mix of various other and sundry areas of art .Do enjoy the Henry Moores. A small museum like this depends on its donors -an explanation of the eclectic nature of the collection. Obviously Palm Springs collectors have wide and varied tastes. Worth a stop as are all art museums-They need our support.

My wife can spend hours looking at art. Examines each piece, reads all the descriptions...me, not so much. I like art but have a 2-3 hour endurance window. This museum was perfect for us both. Some beautiful exhibits but not too many. Clearly loved and supported by the community. Very fine design. Will visit again when we are in the... More
