Self tour of history and art. Beautiful building, helpful staff, super location near downtown. The museum offers movie night, walking distance to other attractions. I am not knowledgeable about art but enjoyed what i saw.

This is museum is first class and should not be missed especially for the first time visitor. There are always excellent exhibits and the building itself is an architectural gem. I believe there is free admission on Thursdays

Richard Diebenkorn exhibit was out of this world!!! Plentiful collection, well placed, well lit. And so very worthy… Permanent collection not too shabby either. If you're visiting PS, ya gotta go!

Most of the art is modern art, which is usually not my cup of tea -- but some areas were quite striking and worthwhile - especially the glass area and collection on the top floor. The middle floor had an interesting but somewhat out-of-place collection of 2000 year-old pieces.

This museum is smaller than a lot of art collections in bigger cities, but you can still spend a few hours here. The collection of art is world class with amazing blown glass contributions by Dale Chihuly. Connect to the wifi in the coffee shop, or grab a snack and enjoy the sculpture garden. Admission is free on thursday evenings... More
