Saw a wonderful exhibition on glass, with collections from Australia and the US/Canada Northwest. Brilliant content and context. Most impressed. But also enjoyed the main collection which is truly eclectic.

Very nice art gallery, great work, quiet and cozy. I always take some time to strol over when everyone else is doing something else. Also for a great hike, go up the museum trail. By warned, museum trail is intense but I love it!

The exhibit is exceptional and well staffed with volunteers that not only know their stuff but experienced it. Located on the eastside of the Palm Springs Airport with easy access off Gene Autry Blvd.

A rainy day in Palm Springs? Where else to go? I'd say even on a nice day this is worth the stop. We have been here on two prior occasions and the exhibits have always been wonderful. The current glass exhibition is particularly well done. The variety and creativity of the glass on display is almost mind boggling. For the... More

Not just a art museum but has different types of displays. Some paints, glass, sculptures, cloth, new & old. So it would appeal to many. It is a block off the main street with free parking. Or walk from downtown. You can go here then walk to the main "drag" of Palm Springs for eats and shopping. Three floors plus... More

Visited on a free Thursday and thought the beautiful building and art to be very good, although I preferred the art at the Palm Desert Art Museum off El Paseo. That said, the night we visited was mainly glass art, with a room of Western art and an upstairs of modern works. Take advantage of the free Thursday, I'm not... More

A very nice museum located in downtown Palm Springs with three different floors of art, some of which changes.

There is a lot to like about this museum. It is small enough to be manageable; the architecture is interesting and the art is very impressive. When we visited there was a wonderful exhibit of glass from Australia. The permanent collect of contemporary art is impressive as is there sculpture collect. The art of the southwest is of usually high... More

Superlatives trip off the tongue when it comes to the Palm Springs Art Museum. New York has nothing on Palm Springs when it comes to the presentation of all aspects of art, displayed in a wonderful setting, located just steps away from the world famous Palm Canyon Drive. Visitors to Palm Springs should make the time to spend a morning,... More
