This review is more about the golf course than the food. Although, the hot dog at the turn came out with perfect grill marks and they had a nice array of fixins (fresh onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños.) The staff from bag drop to kitchen to pro shop were all friendly and accommodating. This is my second time here and both... More

This course is so very well maintained! The fairways are so nicely and evenly clipped, there are plenty of restrooms on the course and also plenty of ice and water. The course itself is a pleasing mix of par 3's and par 5's. The greens are so smooth it is like putting on glass. There are a lot of sand... More

I liked this course as there were no hotels surrounding it....Conditions were excellent, track was good. Very enjoyable.

I was very impressed with the Firecliff course. Beautiful property, very well maintained and conditioned. Playability is excellent. Both my wife and I were very impressed. A "must play" for sure !

Nice property but not enough going on and too far away for my taste. A couple would need two cars if one likes to golf away from this resort and the other person likes to shop or go to attractions. Nice pool area for kids and another for adults.

Some nice holes. Scattered around the desert, you devote all your focus on one hole at a time. Fire cliff has some nice variety however the greens were not great and the course was VERY crowded although we got through in less than 4.5 hours. Would play again but there needs to be some attention paid to the condition of... More

Excellent condition golf course. I played from the forward tees for fun and had a blast. It is very well run with lots of staff to help. It was my first desert course, so I was in awe of the flora. My first road runner too. The clubhouse sits in the desert perfectly - huge proshop for shopping. We didn't... More

High quality municipal courses are lacking in the "Desert" but the Desert Willow complex will rival many of the "privates". The Kemper staff is superb on the phone, in the Pro Shop and on the course. The merchandise in the Pro Shop is displayed in a friendly manner and the restaurant is superb! Nothing beats a beer sitting outside with... More

I recently played the Firecliff course, for the first time, during my stay in Palm Springs. Below are my OPINIONS of the course and the overall experience. First, the POSITIVES: The drive up to the club house and all of the facilities are top notch, as was the service. You’ll have access to free balls on the all-grass driving range,... More

Our Firecliff course was over seeded in October and has experienced a roller coaster of temperature swings. We had unseasonably hot weather in October and November, and severe frost delays in December and January. As a result, Firecliff was still transitioning in certain areas. These areas include some tee boxes, green collars, and areas of rough. Although Firecliff’s greens appear... More

I played both courses many times over the past 13 years and they are always in perfect condition. Desert setting in the midst of one of the coldest winters in the Midwest and east coast make for a lovely vacation spot or second home.
