We were here in early December. The course was in good condition and was not too busy. The price was $89 US. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and everything ran like clockwork. The patio was super for after golf lunch/supper and drinks. All very nice.

The drive into the course alone will take your breath away. We felt we were driving into the South Pacific. We golfed the Firecliffe course and although we started at noon, there were some slow players in front of us so we ended up playing the last couple of holes in darkness cause we just didn't want it to end.... Played both courses and both were great. Mountain View is much less challenging and interestingly has far less spectacular views. Firewall is just gorgeous! The patio restaurant has a beautiful view and great lunch fare. Big portions. Highly recommend this golf destination.

Had the pleasure of playing a golf course from the tips that is as good as there is anywhere in the Palm Springs area, the FIRECLIFF course at Desert Willows Golf Resort, two great course at one resort; the MOUNTAINSIDE course has just planted their winter grass so is probably a couple of weeks from opening BUT if you want... this is a top notch golf course, a little on the pricey side but still a beatuiful and not to difficult of a course to play. we will be back to play again.

We enjoy playing these beautiful courses. Both provide plenty of challenge for any level of golfer. The clubhouse/ restaurant offers great dining opportunities for cocktails or lunch but sandy, no dinner.

Golfers will love both of the courses offered here; Mountain Side & Firecliff. If you are coming during the months of October/November there is over-seeding on one of the courses so both may not be available. Be sure to check when making your reservations. Mountain Side was rated one of the most 'lady' friendly golf courses in America. Firecliff has... More

Desert Willow Golf Resort opened in 1997, and although a full time resident of the Desert, but not being a golfer, I've never been to visit Desert Willow until I attended a Wedding Reception last weekend. I have got to say when you walk into the club house with the full window view over the course, some water, to the... More

Course was well maintained and challenging enough to still be fun for an average golfer. Great views. No restaurant at the turn, so that was a downside. Friendly staff.
