We played in November. The weather was perfect sunshine and high 70s low 80s. The course was in very good condition. Be sure to check with any course you want to play in the Palm Springs area this time of year. Many of the courses seem to conduct their overseeding procedures this time of the year. It’s important to know... More

Maybe due to recent overseeding the greens were pretty slow and bumpy but it was still a fun course to play. Wide fairways made the slope come in around 128 but a large number of traps kept it challenging. I'd rate this higher with faster greens.

We have come back to this course for 5 years. We own a time share with SPG that is walking distance to the course. The course is always groomed so well and is not too hard to play. The ponds are full of great birds, the desert landscape is so well maintained. The views of the mountain are beautiful. The... More

We played the Firecliff course - talk about lots of bunkers with sand. I used my sand wedge almost more than any other club. You must be very accurate to get a good lie off the tee and on your fairway approach shots - accuracy is not my specialty. Good placement of water features. Carts have GPS so that is... More

The patio area looking out over the golf course is outstanding. The food was excellent and not over priced.

Unbelievably bad bunker which we all like cement and needs a ton of sand to be put into each one. Also, given there poor state why are there so many of them In addition, the greens were very poorly kept. I know there is a water shortage but people like me don't want to pay good money for a round... More

Desert Willow Golf has two excellent courses that are not only challenging but fun to play. You might be greeted by a curious roadrunner or a rabbit or two so bring your camera. Although located in the city limits you would never know it because the terrain, desert landscaping, grassy fairways and fabulous mountain views make one feel they are... More

The location is an excellent proximity to all shopping venues. They have excellent activities wonderful pools and plenty of golfing at two championship style golf courses. If you are staying at... Most of the best golf courses in the Coachella Valley are not located at resort properties (including the Marriott Desert Springs located across the street) and Desert Willow is no exception. Firecliff is by far the best of the two courses and is always in immaculate condition. What truly makes it special to play is the gorgeous landscaping. There isn't... More
