One of the best public golf courses I have played. I only wish residents could make tee times more than three days ahead! Following a challenging game of golf besure to stay for lunch that is as good as the golf. What a view to sit back and enjoy a cold drink.

Not an inexpensive place to eat but food is good and service OK as well. Nice views of the course and covered and uncovered options for outdoor seating. Popular spot so be prepared to wait if you go 'in season'.

We loved the beauty of this course and the variety from hole to hole. The water is challenging but well placed so it's not overwhelming. There's shade and drinking water throughout, and it's like golfing in a park. The staff is wonderful. Play was a little slow at 8:45 a.m., but we didn't mind. We're from another state and can... You'd think in late Sept that it would be cooler but it was 100+ and sweltering. Not too enjoyable for us golfers. That said, the course was in pretty fair shape. (Lots of courses closed this time of year for overseeding) Pricing is $76 for a round, which can be reserved through their website.

I am from San Diego and I pay golf all over. This is hard to beat. Especially when you start off birdie birdie par. The fairways are great and the Greens roll true. A can't miss.

Was a bit wary that this was a public course but - WOW. Excellent course, beautiful scenery and very good on / off course facilities. A must play when you are in Palm Springs

This is my FAV. The course is beautiful and the employees are consistently pleasant and helpful. There is rarely a long wait time at the tee. The Marshall is always doing a great job. Summer values are excellent. Desert wildlife can be seen and the views are spectacular.

We think the two courses here are fun and quite challenging for players of all levels. It is very scenic and excellently maintained for a public course. BUT, unless you are a resident of Palm Desert, you will have to pay top dollars to play there. Even in the middle of summer when the temperatures soar to 120 degrees, they... More

Ok I have been to better time shares but this is nice / modern new facility. They have built another swimming pool away from the main area which is nice. The main area (swimming pool) is perfectly fine...but the lack of restaurant choices is a little disheartening. You would expect a resort to have full amenities at your beckon call... More

Golfed on the Firecliff course last weekend and got an awesome rate for an early morning tee time Iit gets a bit toasty in the desert in the summer). The driving range was closed for annual repairs, however, for the price you cannot complain. The course is still in excellent shape and is as beautiful as ever. This is our... More
