Just got back from Palm Springs. Played Indian Wells both causes, Mountain View and The Classic. Classic by far my favorite! First 17 holes were not only challenging but beautiful. Very good shape in fairways and rough. Greens were the fattest we played. Loved it. Only hole that was so so was 18. Last 100 yards into green the fairway... More

First time here, never heard of the place or saw it advertised...no recommended. I came to it from a recommendation of a golf pro I played with at LaQuinta. To my surprise, lovely facility, pro shop, driving range and it was in excellent condition My overall experience was very positive..

Classic Club came recommended from friends in Eugene. We found the course to be a bit out-of-the-ordinary for desert golf. There were conifers (perhaps Georgia Pines) all over the place and this definitely isn't as much a "desert golf" course as many in the area. The Troon experience was a class-act as usual. Complimentary yardage books, ball mark repairers, and... More

As a full time resident of the area (I live in one of the nearby 55+ communities), I am always on the lookout for good golf at reasonable prices. Classic Club is a major hit. With my resident card -- $35 for a full year -- I can play the course for $60 and even less in the summer, The... More

Classic Club was recommended by a couple of Palm Springs veterans and didn't disappoint. It is an interesting, well conditioned course. The greens were true and fast. Our only complaint is that they seriously over water; many sand traps had significant standing puddles and apart from the puddles wet sand. I fail to understand why they waste so much water.... The Classic Club golf course is a beautiful course, full of lots of challenges in the form of sand and water. The course is visually pleasing and the fairways are in excellent shape and the greens are fast. The service is good and the food is excellent, especially the casadia. Overall the best course I have played in the area.

We almost didn't play the Classic Golf Club, it was recommended by someone we were playing with the previous day - but was not on our list from the golf traffic booking group. This is one of the nicest golf clubs we have played and our top choice of the five played in Palm Desert. Each hole is beautifully manicured... More

My wife and I played golf in Palm Springs on several golf course and the Classic ranked in the top 2...Wow, a nice golf course with a lot of water features, challenges, opened on some of the hole. We really enjoyed our visit and round. The view from the restaurant is superb and the clubhouse is luxurious. The proshop has... More

Very interesting design in was in fairly good shape. The greens complexes are difficult and can significantly affect scoring if you don't know which side of the pin to be putting from. Overall a very challenging course that is very well-designed

This well-maintained course has a great driving range and practice facility to complement its challenging course design. For duffers, the course will be challenging but fun. Lots of beautiful pine trees complement the desert landscaping and mountain views. The golf staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!
