So beautiful, clean and state of the art facility for swimming of every kind. I have watched senior olympic swimming, and taken my family for free swimming. There are specialty classes that are very helpful.

Beautiful newer pool facilities for all ages of kids. It's in the center of the Palm Desert community center and park which is just beautiful for walking around, basketball, Frisbee, etc. Well worth it and cheap!

The Palm Desert Aquatic Center is managed and run by the Family YMCA of the Desert. This state of the art complex has a 50 meter Olympic swimming pool, 2 giant slides, 25 yard pool, and kids pool. Nice snack bar, great location, as it is part of the city park. Great parking, low cost to get in.

Easy access and lots of choices make this a great place to visit so give it a try. It's just off Fred Waring near the City Hall of Palm Desert and the city has great parks so it's a plus.

If you are a serious swimmer or a casual splasher or a thrilll seeking waterslide afficionado, this is the place for you. The large 50-meter pool is kept at a yaer-round uniform temperature of 81 degrees, which emans they only only heat it in the cooler months, but they cool it in the summertime. The smaller, exercise pool for things... More

Lap swimmers on vacation - this is your heaven. $6 to swim plus locker. Beautiful lap pool. Seems lap lanes are open all day. Swam 2 days in a row and only had to split lane once. It's a bit warm For my taste at 81 degrees.

A great place to swim for all levels, even if the swim teams take up some room in the afternoons. Too bad they don't have better concessions - everything else is very convenient.

Thee premier swimming facility of the desert. With Olympic size pool, diving boards, kid pools, splash area, and one additional lap pool situated in the park, (a fantastic park at that). The water is a bit cool during the winter, I have to wear ear plugs during my swim. There are water exercise class, swim teams, and water polo practices.... More
