Beautiful large, outdoor pool, mainly designed for aquatic sports. I am a lap swimmer and appreciated the multiple lanes which minimizes overcrowding. Temperature and water quality were both very good. Showers could have worked better and it would be nice to have a sauna for those colder winter days but otherwise a great place for swimming.

The Palm Desert Aquatic Center is the best pool I have swam in. The outdoor lap pool opens early in the morning (6am) with a 50 yard distance. They convert over to a 25 yard pool around 8:30am. I've only had to share a lane a couple of times. Not a big deal because the lanes are wide. Locker rooms... More

This is a terrific addition to Palm Desert. There are three pools with lap swimming, high dives, slides and classes. Great place to work out and also to spend the day. Plenty of chairs and shade too.

Good place for young families because of a wonderful children's pool area. Main pool is frequently tied up with swimming meets or closed because of lack of staff (lifeguards) to monitor swimming. Ergo, limited free swimming for adolescents and adults.

There is plenty of space and different level pools. A lot of shade and grassed areas to sit. The water slide is amongst the pools so it is easy to keep an eye on the kids whilst you are swimming in another pool.

We're here on vacation and our rental house has a nice pool but we thought it would be nice to bring the kids here for the day. We were going to go to Soak City but they aren't open until the weekend so the kids needed to wait until the weekend to go to Soak City. The kids were disappointed... More

This is a fun and inexpensive place to take the kids and grandkids. Although you cannot bring your own food into the Center the snack bar is reasonably priced and they do have healthy choices. I have always found that the employees, whether they be lifeguards or behind the counter help, to be pleasant and efficient.

Beautiful facility for all. I stopped by to swim laps and I am not as fast as most swimmers so I stayed in the first lane with a couple of other slow pokes. 50 meter lap pool was pretty full, one swimmer was a little upset that the other swimmers were not following the circle pattern rule but he was... LOVED the Aquatic Center. For only $3.00 per day you can lap swim and enjoy the lap pool and pool with diving boards. Great place to take the kids for an afternoon. There is a concession stand for snacks and soft drinks Great location and was easy to find. Very clean and well maintained. Will definitely return on my next... More
