Was surprised how much the Grandchildren enjoy this, thought that they might be bored, but they loved it, took the tram around and then walked around, visited the best mini train village, rode the camels - awesome!

I see why it's only open from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30p.m. this time of year as it's really HOT but decided to go and take my grandsons. They loved the Living Desert. We took the shuttle, for an extra fee, but it was well worth it. You could hop on and off. The boys loved feeding the giraffes. Because of... More

Excellent fun and learning experience. Great variety of African and American animals with an opportunity to learn more about each. Several times per day there are shows which include trained birds and other animals which is both entertaining and educational.

My nephew is an outdoors and animal fanatic, and so after some discussion, his Dad and I decided this might be a good place to visit. It was honestly a really great choice. There are a lot of really interesting animals related to the desert. For adults, there are a number of beautiful gardens and informational signs to visit. My... More

Private tour is worth the money. Priority seating at shows and insider info. The tour guides are well versed on the Living Desert showing the group behind the scenes animals and insider info.

Very nice park with animals on display in open areas. When you go, you must feed the giraffes. Feeding is only done at special times so you must plan your visit. You stand on a platform and feed them carrots from your hand!

We hit this every couple of years. It's always nice to take along new-by's who have never been. They keep upgrading and dating this place. The kids will love it. Go early before it gets too hot.
