I cannot recommend this place enough. I came up with an elaborate plan to propose to my girlfriend during their giraffe feeding. I had never been to the property before and Roshan was extremely helpful in walking me through the options and prices. We found something that was exactly what I needed. When we arrived we had a private tour... More

The giraffes just had babies, there are so many animals and a very interesting zoo. There is a tram to use to visit the center.

Most animals just hide in the shade when it's so hot; likely a better experience in the cooler months (we went in July).

Like most zoos, and as indicated in its official name, Living Desert has as much flora as it does fauna. As a largely botanical photographer, I loved that. As a palm tree lover, I really loved that it had a palm tree garden! My guys enjoyed the big cats featured ... esp. the jaguars and leopards ... and the meerkats... More

This is a magical place to go at night at Christmas. Lots of lights, a great show for the kids and an ice skating rink.

Lots to see. Arrived at 9 am to feed giraffes. Awesome up close to a giraffe!!! They eat carrots right out of your hand. Spent another few hours looking at all fun animals. Was a hot day (105 degrees) so we left around noon. Kids loved seeing all the fun animals (zebra, snake, turtles, ostrich to name a few)!!!

This is a really cool area. There are tons of cool exhibits and animals from all over, including some rare animals from Africa. Just be prepared. The zoo is well laid out but can be a trek to see everything. I took my younger kids to the zoo and they had a great time. They loved all of he various... More

My wife and I expected to be in and out of this place in less than two hours as I didn't expect there to be that large of a variety in desert growing plants. Boy was I wrong. The garden is huge with areas representing desert plants from all over the world. We were fascinated by the variety and wound... More

A wonderful place to take the family just don't go in the dead of summer. I am a local so I take visiting friends and attend great social events. The docents are very knowledgable and give fun tours. They have an animal hospital established by donations. There are scheduled times that you can view the various animals getting their checkups.... More
