This is definitely a fun, interesting attraction, but understand that the experience is pricey--almost $50 admission for 2 adults and 1 toddler. Then for the tram, $12. To feed the giraffe a few carrot sticks, $5. A family annual pass is reasonably priced at $125.

A great to take the family. Kids can feed the giraffes and go to the butterfly house. Occasionally there's a bird house exhibit that's beautiful. Various desert animals from the North American deset and South African desert areas, including the infamous meerkats. You can walk or take a guided golf cart tour for those that have difficulty walking. l.

We loved the opportunity to feed the giraffes. Loved that the churro stand was open this year. Bring water with you. They have a great presentation of desert animals. Very friendly staff and volunteers.

This was a lovely place to visit. The staff were super friendly and there were lots of opportunities for them to share their knowledge with the visitors, including a reptile show and tortoise table. Our favourite activity was feeding the giraffes, it was a fantastic experience. You have to pay to do it, but it was a very reasonable cost... More

A great experience and well worth the time spent. Temperatures were 110 degrees but there is plenty of shade, cool buildings to visit, snack bar and plenty of water all around. Several of the animals were out and could be seen so obviously it was not too hot for them. A most magnificent building is the new animal hospital with... More

I was expecting this to be dumbed down version of a zoo, but I was pleasantly surprised. The gardens and zoon are much larger than I expected and the settings are natural and beautiful. There is a tram to drive you around, which is nice for those hot days. Oddly there are many shady spots, to enjoy a cool respite.... More

This way fantastic for a plant lover like me. It was really nice going and seeing the animals close by. The hospital was very interesting. We would have stayed longer had it been a less humid day.

Visited here last week on a family holiday from the UK, only open in the mornings in summer due to the heat. Absolutely fascinating place with a great range of interesting animals and plant life to see. Highlights for us were baby giraffe, the aviaries, mountain goats. Lots of spaces given to the animals and interesting views into each enclosure.... More

Love this place. We have visited several times with kids and each time we had a blast. There are much to see and do. A rescue hospital, place for kids to play, a restaurant, a souvenir shops in the middle of the zoo. The desert wildlife is great but sometimes, you don't get to see them since they can roam... More
