The jeep excursion took us to some very interesting San Andreas sites with great explanations. The guide, Russ Augustine, had been recommended by a friend as being very knowledgable, fun, sensitive to his guest's interests and needs. The recommendation was "right on". If one is interested in our land, earthquakes and faults, they would find the company, and especially Russ,... More

We had a terrific trip last week with Bob and learned a great deal of information about the San Andreas Fault and the desert area. He was highly knowledgeable and very entertaining. We would highly recommend both him and Desert Adventures for education, awareness, and fun!

This was an awesome tour. Our tour guide "Jeri" was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the area - flora and fauna. She thoroughly loves her job and showing off this wonderful area. She was very accommodating allowing stops for picture opportunities and answering any and all questions. This is a great way to learn about the history of this area... More

How can you look at the mountains all around you and not want to understand their history? This was a great trip, far better than we expected. Our driver/guide was excellent and the country we covered was fantastic.

Loved this trip. Learned so much about the vegetation in the desert while we enjoyed the great vistas. Had a great guide who really knew a lot about the Indian tribes that lived in this area for many years. I was a great way to spend 3 hours!

We took the Red Jeep San Andreas Fault and Living Desert Tour Package. A good day with Russ, our guide, who was both knowledgeable and very entertaining on the three hour jeep tour through the fault. The Living Desert experience was also great. I would recommend both! Brenda and Terry from Missoula, Montana

We recently surprised our friends by booking a late afternoon and night tour of the San Andreas Fault & Stargazing combination. It was by far the best and most educational tour we have ever experienced. Our tour guide Carlos was a much better instructor than any I have ever had in my university experience. He knew the geology and astronomy... More

The San Andreas Fault & Stargazing tour was fantastic. Our tour guide, Tom, was informative and humorous throughout the three hours. He seemed to truly enjoy his job. The walk up through the "slot canyon" was the highlight of the tour. This experience was simultaneously fun and educational. As East Coast folks, the desert was a new experience for us.... More

Bob led a fun tour with fascinating facts about what we saw in the canyons and mountains, plus intriguing history all delivered with a sense of humor. The hikes gave us a bit of challenge but not too much for these Midwesterners used to flat trails! Recommended!
