My husband and I went on the San Andreas Fault Sunset & Stargazing Jeep Tour. Our guide was Carlos Salsas and he was fabulous. Personable, knowledgeable and in love with his subject. It was a one-of-a-kind experience going out to what seems like miles away from civilization in the evening and learning about the terrain, the indigenous Indians and all... More

A few days ago, we took the sunset jeep tour of the San Andreas Fault, with star-gazing. Our terrific guide was Carlos, one of the best we've had in all our worldwide travels. Carlos was extremely knowledgeable, humorous, and a great story teller. We learned about the geological history, the floral and fauna, and the cultural history of the Coachella... More

Whilst on vacation my daughter surprised me by booking this adventure. We were collected by Tom M from the resort at 6pm in a jeep and taken out to the fault. From the time we were collected to returning home Tom was so informative, which even included in some star watching. Well worth doing.

Best tour we've had all summer! Despite the heat, Bob G is fantastic and made every part of the trip worth the 100+ °F temps.

Great tour guides take you on jeep tours of the desert. See the San Andreas Fault, local plants, oases and more. Humorous and educational small group experience.

We did the San Andreas Fault Jeep tour in April. Our guide was very informative and we learned a lot about the desert and it's vegetation. We did a small amount of walking to see rock formations and views, and had plenty of time for pictures. If you are looking for a different experience in the Palm Springs area, this tour... More

I have been in this desert for 12 years and hiked the area extensively. On the San Andres Fault tour I saw formations I had never seen before AND thanks to our guide Russ Augustine I knew what I was looking at and the hows and whys of these fascinating formation. I have always loved the desert, but this brought... More

As residents of Desert Hot Springs for 10 years, my partner and I took our first Red Jeep Tour and what a suprise! Even though we live here we never new the "real" beauty of the desert until our guide Russ Augustine showed us just what it meant. We took the San Andreas fault tour which was amazing. Seeing first... More

Definitely do the Sunset tour of the San Andreas Fault. I'm a resident of La Quinta and brought a friend visiting from Massachusetts on this tour. My feeling was I would never drive way out in the desert at night so this would be a great way to see the desert. Needless to say, the tour far exceeded my expectations.... More

Dori was an amazing guide when we visited in March! She was knowledgeable, fun and completely adventurous. She educated us about the fault line, desert facts, and some neat city info along the way. A total blast!!!
