It is a very pretty stretch of shops and restaurants BUT there is one shop I wish no one ever shops in! It is called, Only in Palm Springs and is a souvenir shop. I was buying two mugs and went to pay. I did not know that there was a Canadian nickel in the change I handed the cashier.... More

El Paseo is close to a mile long with shops and malls that should appeal to every pocketbook. Lots of designer stores, but also popular stores such as Chico's, Black/White, etc. Plan to have lunch at one of the many restaurants--lots with patio seating. you will also find art galleries and specialty stores. If vacationing in the desert, this is... More

The "gardens" are beautiful, especially when you are on the second tier looking down toward the other end and all the gracious palm trees are in your sites. It's a photo op, that's for sure. Two floors of shops and restaurants and great parking make it a must see when in the desert. As I've said, it's the desert's answer... More

From Gucci and Louis Vuitton to cute boutiques such as Elizabeth & Prince and The Upper Crust...you can't go wrong going there. Shopping, great dining, plus a free shuttle going up and down the street makes for an awesome day.

We came here on May 1st for the Art Walk. We started at around 6:30 p.m. and found several shops already closed when it was advertised that they would be open until 8 p.m. One gallery owner told us that the city had informed the organizers that they could no longer serve food and alcohol to patrons without large fees... This street is an upscale shoppers dream with lovely places to stop for a breakfast, lunch, snack, drink or dinner. Many designer stores but also some for those who don't want to spend a fortune. If you are looking for a jewelry store Leeds is the place to go. Fabulous jewelry and the owner is a real gem himself. A... More

Nice selection of shops, art stores and restaurants. Some great seating areas in the El Paseo mall area ( Ann Taylor, Tiffany's, Pottery Barn) if you want to take a break. Try and grab lunch at one of the patio restaurants.

I was disappointed to see that many of the stores are out of business or going out of business. Those still in business are very pricey. Bathrooms are at a premium.
