Lots of Fine Shopping

El Paseo has a large assortment of upscale shops. It reminds me of Rodeo Drive in LA. We found a Mephisto shoe store which had an excellent selection of that brand's shoes.

This is a street lined with high quality shops (art, apparel, restaurants, you name it). It is clean and safe with adequate parking behind the shops. Even in hotter weather the sidewalks are shaded and there is usually a breeze. It is nice for me to find the name brand quality shops and good food in a setting other than... More

Nice to walk up and down the street - thankfully no 'T-shirts / Souvenir' shops - quite a few good restaurants

This is a very nice shopping district with some very interesting artwork and sculptures along the main street. Many top stores to choose from and great restaurants, as well.

Escada, Louis Vitton, etc. etc. consignment upscale shops all great! But DO NOT GO TO HEIRESS!!! What a fire hazard...go down three steps and look to your right and there is a sign that says "don't touch the merchandise" Really? How does one shop without touching the hangers? Your shoulders hit both sides of the ailse as you walk down... More

I'm not a shopper by nature. This street is for shoppers who actually enjoy the experience of shopping. Ugh. That said, it is fair and unbiased to say that the prices for goods on this street are as high as you'll find them anywhere. Real estate is pricey on this avenue. So products are more expensive here than in stores... More

Upscale outdoor shopping area just of Nighway 111. It is very easy to get to. We just kind of stumbled onto this and had a fun shopping experience.

13 fine art galleries; at least as many fine eateries; Apple, Starbucks, Saks, Eileen Fisher, nearly endless shopping opportunities. If you have an entire day, begin at Monterey drive, walk one side of the (very) long street to highway 111, cross to the other side, and walk back along the opposite side. Snack and dine along the way, and bring... More
