Palm course has been one of our favourites in the past. Poor rating because of very slow play. Noon tee-off. 2.5 hours to play the front nine. Told the marshall who then made a wimpy effort to speed up play. To no avail. Total round was 4:50. Beautiful fairways but they've re-done the greens with turf that is not real... More

My wife and I have been playing golf for too many years, and we needed some "tune up" instruction. Diane did not try and change our swing - she took what we had, and made suggestions on "minor changes". Often she had me saying "I knew that", but I had forgotten. Over the past 20 years, we have probably had... More

Both courses are aptly named and not only provide challenging golf but also gorgeous views, even while trying to locate a wayward shot. The staff are very accommodating and informative. Even a piece of fresh fruit is offered by the hotel staff while playing a round. Give them a try!

A very interesting & beautifully maintained course ( Valley) played twice so far this week as the Palms course very busy with tournaments. Only problem? NO Marshalls out on the course. Lots of sand & water everywhere. Challenging for all levels of golfer. Every shot has to be thought out, taking time to figure best approach for par 4's &... More

Played 3 rounds on Palm course over 2 days in mid November. Course was in great shape with spectacular views. The course is very challenging as there is lots of water and sand. The fairways are undulating so quite frequently you are hitting off uneven lies. Enjoyed the course so much I plan to play it again when I return... More

Played on a Tuesday and was very crowded. Five hours for eighteen holes. The course was magnificent. Smooth fairways, greens like velvet and beautiful. Lots of water hazards.

Course was saturated with over-watering, barely playable. When this was mentioned, shrugged off by the staff. The staff were not very helpful and were distracted by some workers setting up a temporary stage for an event. Pretty course, just wish it would have been in better condition.

I know it is October and not the best time for desert golf, but this was not good. The rough was shaggy and so were the greens. Lots of wet patches due to poor drainage. I'm a 15 handicap and this shouldn't be that hard. I couldn't wait to finish. I was really looking forward to it because I was... More

Played it yesterday in 106 degree temps and it was still fun. Lots of water and sand make shot placement important. Was well maintained especially given the drought here in California. The cart came with ice so we could keep our bevies cold. Back half is a bit easier than front. Some really pretty holes and one island green
