Of the two courses at Marriott Desert Springs, the Palm Course is a more attractive track; in fact it's beautiful especially the closing 4 holes The course is very well maintained. It's a more difficult course than first meets the eye but if you put your ego aside and play from more forward tees the Palm course is a pleasure... More

Both courses were well maintained, resonably priced for the area, and, with a variety of tees, playable for all.

The resort offers 2 very interesting and challenging course no matter what your skill level. You can play from a good variety of tee boxes to test your skill or offer a fun day. My wife and I always play both course when we are in the area. The greens are always in great shape and will test your ability... More

Easy to get a tee time, easy to store clubs, challenging enough golf without being "tricked up". The course was in great shape.

Course looked beautiful from road so decided to give it a try. Customer service from when we arrived at bag drop was well below any other service we had in the area. The women that checked us in was very nice. The starter was not very friendly and informed us they were 20 minutes late- there is no frost delay-... More

I'd actually give this course 3-1/2 stars; not up to 4 star amenities. We drove up to the bag drop, where there was a phone to call if no one was around to take the clubs (there wasn't). The pro shop is down a flight of exterior stairs Clubs were waiting after check-in. Carts don't have windscreens or club covers... More

We spent a month at the JW Marriott and played both courses. Each course has it own unique challenges and beautiful waterfalls. Many of the fairways are generous but often undulating, creating uneven lies. I found both courses to be user friendly but requiring well placed shots on the over the water par threes. I highly recommend these well maintained... More

I finished off the 2013 golf season in Canada on a bit of a sour note. I booked a one hour video lesson at the Desert Willow. The lesson is not at Desert Willow though. It is at a driving range about a five minute drive away. Paul Bucy was my instructor and he was very intuitive as to my... More

Beautifully maintained, great golf for anyone! Watch out for sneaky water hazards - dangerous. Visually pretty as well. Fairways fairly open to slicing
