Really nice course. Open fairways and strategically place bunkers. Water on a couple of holes. Long par 3's and beautiful greens. Didn;t play Palm but heard greens were not good and a few more blind shots with water involved

We have played many (over 9 to include the PGA courses) of the golf courses in the Palm Springs area. We like both of the JW Marriott's courses (the Valley and the Palm) but the Palm course is our most favorite. The course are well maintained, competitively priced and fair to play.

the Valley course is not as beautiful as the Palm course. If you like the water challenges, go for the Palm course. Valley course has more tree obstacles.

See my related trip advisor review of the villa. Loved the resort style Palm course. Was a good contrast to PGA West Stadium which had the desert landscape (and suspect conditions for a world famous venue). Conditions at Palm were above average. If only playing once at Desert Springs, ask which is in the best shape. Did an afternoon round... More

Of the two courses at Marriott Desert Springs, the Palm Course is a more attractive track; in fact it's beautiful especially the closing 4 holes The course is very well maintained. It's a more difficult course than first meets the eye but if you put your ego aside and play from more forward tees the Palm course is a pleasure... More

Both courses were well maintained, resonably priced for the area, and, with a variety of tees, playable for all.

The resort offers 2 very interesting and challenging course no matter what your skill level. You can play from a good variety of tee boxes to test your skill or offer a fun day. My wife and I always play both course when we are in the area. The greens are always in great shape and will test your ability... More

Easy to get a tee time, easy to store clubs, challenging enough golf without being "tricked up". The course was in great shape.

Course looked beautiful from road so decided to give it a try. Customer service from when we arrived at bag drop was well below any other service we had in the area. The women that checked us in was very nice. The starter was not very friendly and informed us they were 20 minutes late- there is no frost delay-... More
