I've played this course many times over the years. It's got beautiful views on the front 9. The conditioning is always average, but still fun to play.

I loved playing this golf course with my husband. The front nine meanders through a housing area but you see lots of deer perusing the course when you play. The back nine runs along 17 mile drive and allies the golfer great views of the ocean. It's called the "tthe Poor Man's Pebble Beach" for a reason. Not too expensive... More

With beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and also reasonably priced golf fees, we find it fun to play Pacific Grove Municipal Golf Course. The golf course is well maintained. It has a driving range, golf club, and pro shop as well.

Golfed here in early November. Front none is fine, but back nine is wonderful. Ocean views and huge sand dune hazards. Cost me $108 wth cart and clubs but worth every dollar as there is a snowfall warning back home in Manitoba 😬

Want to play Pebble Beach? It is now $495 round. Try Pacific Grove Golf Links as I did at 2PM twilight and it will cost you $25. The front 9 is pretty benign, except for the fact that deer are to be found near almost all the greens. On one hole there were two bucks. Great photo ops. But the... More

This is the most beautiful municipal golf course I have ever played! It is very well kept. On the back nine you will enjoy beautiful ocean views. We even spotted whales while golfing! We have always golfed on a weekday and it has not been crowded .

A really great course, well maintained and a lot of fun. It is a little shorter than more courses, but links golf is also deceivingly difficult. The fairways are narrow and the greens are small. Its the best value within driving distance of the Bay Area for this quality of golf, at a reasonable price, and the pace of play... More

Views as in the original but only for a fraction of the price. Do it. You won't regret it. The front 9 aren't spectacular at all, wait until you get to the back nine. It is breathtaking and one recommendation: wlk the back nine, it is worth it. Dress in layers too.

Pacific Grove Municipal a Golf course is a fun, very tight little course. The front nine are fairly ordinary with a few ocean views along the way, but the back nine offer true links play, plenty of sand dune hazards and a terrific Oceanside setting. Staff are friendly and helpful. At $68 for green fees and cart, it's a fun... More
