We were made very welcome and even got out earlier than booked. Second 9 we were joined by a local chap who was great company. Second 9 more interesting with sand dunes and a sea view. Reasonable practice ground get your token for the balls from the pro shop then drive down and park nearby.

If you are a golfer and don't have several hundreds of dollars to play Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove is an excellent value. Lots of wildlife and an ocean view for the back 9 for around $50. Worthwhile walking with your spouse too!

Oh my goodness, this golf course is beautiful. Very challenging golf course with lots of bunkers, water hazards, up and down hills. I would highly recommend this golf course to anyone with different levels of golfers. I would play this golf course again and again, because you are not only getting the scenic views, but you are also having fun.

Perfect for golfers whose games don't merit, and pocketbooks can't handle, Pebble Beach. The front nine plays a lot like many municipal courses, except perhaps the deer. It's green and pretty and we encountered a young entrepreneur selling lemonade and chocolate chip cookies at an intersection. The back nine is like another course altogether..now, you're on the beach with all... More

We played here and we're very impressed. The course offers a good variety of challenge and some amazing scenery especially on the back 9. The course is not extremely long and plays very nice to those of us who are not big hitters off the tee. It has some good par 3's and a long par 5 that will take... More

Four of us shared a wonderful experience and OK game of golf (our fault-not the course's) at a golf course someone properly referred to as "a poor man's Pebble Beach"---right on!! This fantastic spot is like two courses in one-- a gentle, rolling set of open and well-maintained fairways with lots of grass and trees, winding through several lovely (and... More

For a muni-course, simply beautiful. Deer everywhere. Back nine has spectacular views. Best value on the Monterey Peninsula!

Anyone of us who's ever pulled a club thinks about Pebble Beach. We've watched the TV coverage and dreamt of the day when we had the $400 or $500 that would cover the fees. I have a reason for you to travel to Monterey and stay just north of the glamour greens. Pacific Grove is a quirky layout right on... More

Beautiful setting. Front nine park - full of deer and wildlife. Back nine links course - some of the most beautiful ocean views on the planet and geese everywhere. Excellent course and reasonably priced

Slow service for a large group. Soup was barely warm and server said she could 'add it back to the pot' to heat it up. WHAT? Hamburgers were huge and the men in the group 'loved them'! Salad was crispy and fresh. Great place for a quick burger while golfing, but not a good for a destination dinning experience. Most... More
