The path has been upgraded and clearly marked to make it safe for those of us who want to walk. The cyclists have their own lanes and there are many benches where you can sit and watch the ocean. Don't power walk through this are...take the time to inhale the clean air and enjoy the beauty around you.

drive slowly or better walk the boulevard on a nice pedestrian trail, make frequent stops, look out for sea otters and enjoy the marine sanctuary

One of my favorite drives ever. I have been coming here since the 1980s and I never get tired of it. Rent a bike and ride, walk, of drive your car but don't miss this drive.

Great walk, you can go for miles along this lovely oceanfront. pretty much flat. paved part of the way, the rest is very easy dirt trails. On one side you have lovely homes on the other side you have the ocean. The ocean gets rougher the farther you go towards Asilomar. One the the big attractions, besides the ocean of... More

Wonderful, relaxing stroll, bike ride or just ocean watching. Quiet too since it's in a residential area. Really cool.

Charming houses and sea vistas made this a great place to visit, and a great drive to take. We drove into Monterrey to the Aquarium, and later to Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf.

Wonderful scenery - on the edge of Monterey Bay. An easy walk on the paved recreation trail will take you back into Monterey by way of Cannery Row, past the Monterey Aquarium. While the recreation trail ends at Lovers' Point there are pathways and a drive westerly towards Point Joe and all the way around to Asilomar. A nice way... More

Beautiful views of the ocean and it's fun to look at the houses along the way too. Many people drive, walk, jog or bicycle along this road. It is popular and fun to get out and enjoy Pacific Grove along the ocean.

We were out exploring and came upon this gorgeous part of the roadway. We even saw a male, black-tailed deer roaming one of the side streets looking for berries on the bushes bordering the sidewalk. (I hope he found his way back home.) Everyone should take in the views along the road...absolutely spectacular!
