Pacific Grove and Monterey should receive a medal for the work they have done with their trail system. The trails only get better and more extensive. From our hotel at Lover's Point it is an easy stroll all the way into Monterey, Cannery Row, Fisherman's Wharf, and the "old" Spanish part of downtown near the conference center. (it's about 3... This is a view of the ocean and Monterey Bay you can enjoy by walking, driving or parking. Amazing sights and sounds. Also try to visit the Pt Pinos Lighthouse. It is the oldest still working on the Pacific coast and open for tours.

Awesome!! A must visit and see when in Pacific Grove. Got to see sea otters and a whole bunch of fish life in the tide pools between the rocks. Take pictures , memories will last forever.

Awesome path alone on the water that has beautiful views of one of the best coastlines in the country. We saw seals and even an elephant seal in the protected cove nearing the aquarium. A great way to spend a sunny day, and every trip to PG should include a walk (better than a drive) or bike ride on the... More

The beach area is beautiful, with crashing waves, and a rocky shore. It's a great beach to walk along, and view the waves.

A must see if you are visiting Monterey or Carmel. This is a little piece of Heaven. The homes along here are so picturesque across from the ocean. We were on our way to the 17 Mile Drive and found this. We wondered around a bit here and in Pacific Grove area. It's magic. Ask the butterflies.

Pleasant morning stroll with lovely view. Kids were able to scoot easily on the walk and the view is breathtaking. Park away from lover point and you can spend more time strolling.

This drive is not to be missed if visiting the Monterey Bay area. Spectacular views. Lots of pull outs to enjoy the waves splashing against the rocks. Fun for families.

Most of the actual coast line of the Monterey Peninsula is located in the small town of Pacific Grove. The tourists usually think they are in Monterey. This stretch of coast never ceases to amaze me or my wife and we live in Pacific Grove. It has a great walking trail (I do this frequently), numerous pull offs for cars... More
