My daughter and her indulged, precocious daughter came for a week of rain and loved it here! I was a little nervous because this child is accustomed to the bigger museums in Sacramento and Seattle. She is a super active 4+ years and goes for 12+ hours! She likes ACTIVE museums and does not like watching movies etc. I need... More

Museum is pretty small but very well put together. We really enjoyed the bird taxidermy room- makes ID'ing birds seen in the wild very easy. Also loved the sand from around the world. Very cool place!

There was a plethora of information to be had. The volunteers were very friendly and helpful upon entering the building and throughout our stay. Whether you want to learn about bears, cougars, whales, monarchs, swallowtails or whales....there is a lot to learn no matter how old you are.

We have been here twice, both times we had a great time. Our last trip my grandson (5) did a scavenger hunt. He loved it! It' small but there is still so much to see.

One of the best small, local, natural history museums I've ever been to. Great specimen of birds and other wildlife! Friendly staff and take a picture with the whale! Fun place for families, couples, or solo.

Great place to spend some time learning about history of local area. Well maintained and well run by the community. I think it used to be complimentary entry earlier. Great hangout for kids.
