Lovers' Point is a popular sunbathing sight, which many years ago used to boast having a public swimming pool--a popular spot, especially for the youngsters. Today this attraction is gone, leaving the tourists and locals alike with a tiny beach and shoreline walkabout. For those visiting Pacific Grove, without a doubt, this popular sight will be on the "List of... More

Amazing views. We saw seals, sea otters and even whales! Wear shoes so you can go out onto the rocks!

What a way to end our day. It's peacefully beautiful. There are couples basking in the beauty and families going for a walk. It was the perfect place to watch the sun go down. Shades of pink and blue light the horizon and soon melt into the water.

Beautiful spot to just sit and look at the ocean. You can also go down to the shoreline and enjoy it closer.

I've been to Monterey many times and never knew about Lover's Point. It was such an awesome beach. It was in a cove so there wasn't strong waves, so we felt very comfortable letting our 3 year old run around in the water. It was awesome. I highly recommend this beach if you are staying in the area!

You aren't supposed to walk out on the rocks, but I always do, and it is tons of fun. Great tidepools, lots of animals. Even saw a ground squirrel one year. Everytime I go to PG, I stop here. Fun family times.

A wonderful area for the views with a restaurant nearby. Lovely walking and bicycle pathways and just a picturesque place to unwind.

For a nice walk or bike ride from Fishermans wharf, follow the well marked coastal path around themonterey ba to this charming little point with beach. . Smell the sea air, hear, the sea gulls, and marvel at the flying Pelicans. In April and May you can see the harbor seal mothers and pups on the beach on the way.... More

Ample parking with a nice spot to walk out to the rocks for a photo looking back on to the beach, waters, aquarium, Monterey Bay and the homes.
