A wonderful area for the views with a restaurant nearby. Lovely walking and bicycle pathways and just a picturesque place to unwind.

For a nice walk or bike ride from Fishermans wharf, follow the well marked coastal path around themonterey ba to this charming little point with beach. . Smell the sea air, hear, the sea gulls, and marvel at the flying Pelicans. In April and May you can see the harbor seal mothers and pups on the beach on the way.... More

Ample parking with a nice spot to walk out to the rocks for a photo looking back on to the beach, waters, aquarium, Monterey Bay and the homes.

Two beaches, picnic tables, BBQ stands, not to mention an amazing array of walking trails. An excellent restaurant is open in the evenings, and a food stand is available all day. Overnight accommodations are plentiful.

This historically active cove has been the site of many activities and events. One can always find a place to relax and enjoy the views of Monterey Bay, watch surfers, otters, boats, and listen to the sounds of the sea. Great place to relax on the beach or launch a kayak or enter the ocean on a SCUBA dive in... More

The Park provides ample parking and public restrooms. From there, you can walk out to Lover's Point, either by climbing across the rocks, or just enjoying the areas that are accessible from the paths. The rocks aren't too bad, though some people were more adventurous than I was. I could get to a magnificent viewing point in my flip flops... More

Beautiful little area to get some pictures of the purple flowers growing beside large rocks along the coastal walkway. It was cold and breezy in May when we visited so be prepared. I wore a lightweight winter hat and layers.

I know Lover's Point intimately, having lived just a block away for about five years. Everytime I'm on the Peninsula I visit the Point because it is so beautiful and it changes constantly. As many things do on the Peninsula, the weather fluctuates between sunny and warm and cold and foggy within a matter of minutes. Yet, regardless of the... More
