O often go,out to the Channel Islands Harbor because it is beautiful and I can walk for miles. There are a few restaurants along the harbor, but they could use a few more for variety. There is a nice maritime museum there, as well.

Channel Islands Harbor/Marina is huge. The area is a bit dated (circa 1960s), but it's a pretty waterfront and a well-stocked place to eat and party. If you're working at the US Navy Base in Port Hueneme I recommend you stay and dine in and around the harbor. I visited on a nice cool January evening. I'm sure it's a... More

The Fisherman's Wharf is not even in existence anymore, with paint chipping off. The former shops and restaurants are now artists' studios. What's sad is that the signage is still there.

Many great shops and restaurants await your visit to this wonderful location. Stretched along a working harbor and a stone's throw from a National Monument, you couldn't pick a better place for a family outing or a "get to know me" date with a potential sweetie. ALL the eateries will have happy customers. Pick the cuisine you prefer and join... More

Own a home down the street and enjoy the area. A bit old and in need of some upgrading but experiencing the serenity of the harbor is wonderful!

This is a very under used place except for fishermen, recreational boaters and limited sightseeing. The County of Ventura has done everything possible to make this harbor difficult for small businesses and restaurants to thrive by applying a special tax...by the way not applied in Ventura Harbor...I digress...this has a few great restaurants, beautiful walking paths, opportunity to sail ,fish, kyack and take... So, I'm almost reluctant to write a review about the Harbor because, for now, it's one of California's Best Kept Secrets! It's large, quiet, has some very good restaurants, and one of the best yacht clubs on the Western Seaboard. It's also a jumping off place to visit Los Angeles, about an hour away. Santa Barbara is about 35 mins.... More

Great place to walk around and eat, we were there for the Christmas boat light. Enjoyed the lights. Very safe and friendly. Make sure wear jackets, gets cold. Next day they had Farmers Market and sold food, fruits, baked goods. Had fun, great picture area all over the port.

The Channel Islands Harbor is a nice quiet venue without the noisy and smelly attribute of many harbors. Lots of nice boats in moorings to see and walk around. Can take tours to the Channel Islands from here as well as some fishing trips. A few restaurants also. Quiet and peaceful to be enjoyed. ...

Channel Islands harbor has so much to offer! Kayaking, paddle boarding, charter fishing trips to the local islands just to name a few! The Vintage Marina Patners' along with other harbor businesses, have a harbor cleanup a few times a year, where participants clean up trash from the water and surrounding ground areas on foot, kayaks etc, and are treated...
