The Mullin is a world class auto museum and it's worth a trip up from LA to visit it - you'll be glad that you did. Amazing range of pre-WWII auto in pristine condition and with their accessories. Plan on staying as many hours as you can. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Definitely worth visiting. ...

Due to other commitments I was only able to spend 2.5 hours here and wished I'd had more. I arrived right when they opened at 10am and spent about half an hour wandering around until a tour started at 10:30. While the docents obviously have great knowledge and enthusiasm to share, there are a couple of other displays that can... More

This collection is one of the best quality I've seen. Not large in numbers but historically significant. Many are production number 1 of the model. I spent 5 hours in auto heaven. Take one of the docent tours who have great knowledge. As this collection specialises in Bugatti, there are sculptures, furniture and paintings by various family members. Well worth... More

It's hard to put into words the enjoyment we got from going to this museum. The cars are fantastic! Upstairs, they have an authentic soda fountain; although they don't serve...remember it's a museum. Mr Mullin's collection are mostly vintage 1920-1930 cars. He has Voisins, Bugattis, art deco furniture, art, paintings and photographs. It is really worth visiting! You do need... More

This was an amazing experience particularly if your into cars. All these cars are amazing to see, some perfectly restored others exactly as they were found. I would highly recommend this tour.

This is one of the best Car Museums I ever saw and I have been to almost every good car Museum around the World. On top of that, it's really different and very well presented. Congratulations Mr. Mullin and thank you for sharing your personal collection with us.

Peter Mullin parked his beautiful car collection in Oxnard CA, why? Who cares! This is sooo worth the drive north from LA. We were in town to visit relatives and my wife found the museum on Tripadvisor. We were there in the middle of the week and had to arrange a "semi-private" tour. Turned out to be the 3 of... More

if you are looking for seeing the largest collection of cars you ever saw, that is the wrong place. If you are more eclectic and wants to see some of the most unique cars in the world, than that is the place to go. ATTENTION! These are NOT American muscle cars but French cars from the Art Deco times, early... More

What a privilege to have the chance to have a docent-guided tour of all those fabulous cars. What we saw, what we learned, and in fact the whole presentation of these exquisite cars, with their accompanying informative displays, the Bugatti-related artwork and exhibits about the unfortunately tragic lives of the gifted Bugatti offspring exceeded expectations in the grandest way. Nothing... More

This is a great private collection of rare French cars. I was told the cars change frequently so it won't be the same display. As others have mentioned, check the dates and times the museum is open and order tickets online. Handbags do have to be checked at the front desk but this is to protect the automobiles. I suggest...
