Some are a couple have been a little crusty but they are always eager to help. Been on a few trips this year. Last week... More

Courteous staff from the booking to the crew on board the Gentlemen. Caught plenty of fish and the family and I had a great time. A special thanks to Sunny the cook, who not only prepared excellent food and made us feel welcome, but also went the extra mile by bringing us refreshments while we were fishing.

My sons' karate Master has booked this for 25+ years annually (on original Hustler and now New Hustler) and my son and husband went last year. This year my daughter and I joined the boys, along with other karate members and family. We also had staff from Sago's ( http://www.sagostavern.com/ ) along on the trip both years (more on why... My husband and I took an half day fishing trip on the Speed Twin. We had so much fun! The crew was great, the boat was more then spacious, and the fish were plenty. Make sure you have cash, you will need it for entering the biggest fish contest, having your fish filleted, and tipping the crew.

Went aboard the Gentleman for a three-fourths day fishing trip. Although we didn't catch as many fish as we thought we would, we had an amazing time.

Had a great time every time I go out. Professional skippers go to where the fish are. "Speed twin" is a fast boat and very comfortable. "Gentleman" is a darn good boat, comfortable with a good galley. 3/4 or full day are a lot of fun. Hard to teach the guy's casting the sticks to do it from the bow.... More

I took the Gentleman for a 3/4 day trip on November 4 2014. I had a really good time. I caught some nice size rockfish. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because one of the mates on the boat lost the only lingcod I ever caught in my life. He grabbed the leader instead of netting the fish.... More

We bought a groupon for a 3/4 fishing trip and we had an issue scheduling the trip originally, but MANY MANY THANKS to Liz for working with us to get the schedule we wanted. We went out on a Friday since my son was out of school and it was just he (11 years old) and I. We looked on... More

A group of friends chartered a boat out of Channel Islands Sports Fishing Center this past week. Had a great time and caught many fish. Boat: We went out on the Mirage, it fits 24 but we went with 16 which was much more comfortable. Very good size boat, two large bait tanks, large freezer for catch, two bathrooms, sufficient... We took our boys ( ages 12 & 8) fishing on July 27th. We had a great time and the deck crew is fantastic. The check in process takes longer than it should (hence why they want you there an hour before). We didn't eat the food on board, but it looked decent (burgers and such). They had 2 heads... More
