We have been on many whale watching trips all over the world. This was better than some but by no means the best. We purchased the trip on a Groupon but to be honest I think no-one paid what was advertised as the full price because half-price vouchers seemed to be available for everyone. So that seems a bit of... More

You never know what you'll see on any wildlife excursions... That being said, this morning's outing was truly exceptional - we've never seen the whales so active! The sight of breaching whales were amazing - and to be honest, I lost count on how many humpbacks we saw. Add in all the dolphins, seal lions and birds...made it a memorable... More

This was a really cool experience. I've never been so close to dolphins before, and there were so many! Unfortunately, no whales wanted to come up for a visit the day that we went, but all the dolphins and sea lions and seals were great fun to see! It was nice to have a cook on the boat as well,... We saw two whales, tons of sea lions and dolphins. I enjoyed the experience and would do it again. My only wish would have been that they had tried to give both sides of the boat a view of each whale. I felt like if I was on the wrong side to bad.

I went on a whale watching cruise on Sunday January 5, 2014 with Channel Islands Whale Watching. I called ahead and reserved two spots a few days earlier, and joined their POD club from their website, which sent a printable coupon for 50% off the tickets. (make sure you print the coupon!) We ended up paying $25 per ticket. Arriving... More

January 2013 we went out on a beautiful calm day and had a great tour seeing several whales. Unfortunately even with proper meds I was feeding the fish- needless to say glad this one is off my bucket list!

The whale watching trip took us out to the Santa Cruz, one of the Channel Islands. It was a great day and we saw lots of dolphins, birds, but no whales. The crew were friendly and the captain was very knowledgeable about the history and what we were seeing, very good narrative. The snacks were a bit unimaginative, and I... More

A Super Pod was what we were told. A super pod of some of Nature's most incredible creatures. Add to that thousands of dolphins, slipping through the water at incredible speed and frolicking at the sides and all around the boat and you have a day filled with incredible adventure. My husband and I had joined a cousin and her... More
