What a great adventure! The facilities are exceptional. Since Blue Ocean Kayaking has their own ferry you don't have to worry about the additional cost and time of arranging transportation (they are the only company I found who does this). Being able to store our extra clothes, camera, etc on the boat while we were kayaking was so convenient! Also,... More

What a GREAT way to appreciate sea caves. GJ was our guide & was magnificent, he MADE the trip 100% awesome. Eleven mile boat ride out to Anacapa. Got out of the back of the boat & into the kayaks. It was daring while not being dangerous. I would suggest doing this if you have upper body strength. Fascinating getting... More

Blue Ocean Kayaking is the best! Our guide, GJ, was funny, knowledgeable, and personable. We saw dolphins on the way to Anacapa, plus many seals and sea lions, not to mention all the birds once we got there. It was so easy to step right from the boat into the kayak. The sea caves were amazing and we got to... More

I enjoyed each and every minute of my Blue Ocean Kayaking tour! It was so nice to be able to get into the kayaks right from the boat once we got to Anacapa. GJ led us into many sea caves plus we had plenty of time to just paddle and enjoy the Island and the wildlife. We saw so many... More

We were planning a trip to Santa Barbara originally but ended up in Oxnard since we got our hotel on points. Wanted to go Kayaking and looked up many trips from Santa Barbara but wanted to see if there were any in Oxnard and boy was I glad I did. This trip was amazing! The guide GJ was a pleasure... More

This trip is one of my Top Ten favorite things to do in LA. It is a great adventure to paddle a kayak into a sea cave and under great stone arches. This place is majestic, beautiful, teeming with aquatic life and very very strange. In sum, it's a terrific adventure. If you are traveling to Los Angeles with kids,... More

It was a great day for our trip. It was warm with blue skies and calm seas. Our trip started with Kayaking tips and safety information, after which we boarded the Sunfish. Our trip to Anacapa Island took about an hour. Along the way we saw a huge school of Dolphins and many of them came to play by the... More
