They take great care of their animals, their web site is not up to date so don't go by that but if you are in the area and get a chance to go by the Barry Kirshner Wildlife Foundation it is absolutely worth the money. You get a great up close look at some very rare animals. These are not... More

The wildlife sanctuary offers the public the opportunity to see animals up close that they would never get the chance to see elsewhere. It is obvious that these animals are well cared for both physically and emotionally. The sanctuary is a labor of love by the staff and volunteers alike. We took the whole kindergarten class to the wildlife center, they have a lot of really cool animals! snakes, bears, tigers and so much more. the staff were amazing, While we were there one of the staff members were showing a boa and was bit, Instead of FREAKING out she handled it VERY well!
