My 8-year-old son and I were fortunate to have a personal Magestic ride with our guide, Kimberly. The day was sunny and warm. Our horses were all ready saddled when we arrived, so we got an early start on the trail. Kimberly stopped the horses for rests on the uphill climbs and gave us information about the redwood forest. She... More

The trees were beautiful and our guide Kristina was very informative about the trees and the area. The picture of us on the horse in the redwood tree was a nice touch. Our horses were nice and my husband's horse was the first one he ever rode that actually did what my husband wanted him to. Every other horse on... More

The 2-hour ride up into the huge old growth redwoods was incredible. The mist was heavy and it was almost like a fairy tale with the trees emerging from the clouds. The horses are very well kept and behaved and Christina was an excellent guide. A wonderful way to spend time in this area.

We had a good ride. The horses were well behaved and the guide very friendly. We rode into the forest on well developed trails into a state park. The forest was amazing. It was a good time and a good value.

I took a lovely 1-1/2 hour Goose pen ride. It started at the Orick Rodeo grounds and went into the Redwoods National Park. There were magnificent redwoods which our guide would describe along the way. We rode uphill to where we could take a picture inside a giant redwood tree with our horse. We rode back down on the same... More

We went for a trail ride through the beautiful redwoods.. I wish we could've enjoyed it more, but the experience we got from our guide, Kimberly, was uncomfortable, awkward, and contrived. She was monotone, lacked any enthusiasm, and everything she said sounded rehearsed and stale. We felt like we needed to entertain her the entire ride. It's unfortunate, as the... More

We took the 2-hour ride with Christina, one of the owners. It turned out to be just my husband and myself. The ride was up a hill behind the property through old growth redwoods. You ride an hour up then turn around and ride back the same way. The ride is shaded the entire way except for the portion from... More

My daughter talked me into taking the ride and I am glad she did. This was so much fun and beautiful. The guide and the horses were great!

Upon our trip to the North Coast we decided to go horseback riding. I called and spoke with Kimberly who gave us a choice of 10am or 2pm. We opted for the morning ride due to other obligations in the area. We arrived to find we were the only riders that day and everything was prepared for our two hour... More
