We had a good ride. The horses were well behaved and the guide very friendly. We rode into the forest on well developed trails into a state park. The forest was amazing. It was a good time and a good value.

I took a lovely 1-1/2 hour Goose pen ride. It started at the Orick Rodeo grounds and went into the Redwoods National Park. There were magnificent redwoods which our guide would describe along the way. We rode uphill to where we could take a picture inside a giant redwood tree with our horse. We rode back down on the same... More

We went for a trail ride through the beautiful redwoods.. I wish we could've enjoyed it more, but the experience we got from our guide, Kimberly, was uncomfortable, awkward, and contrived. She was monotone, lacked any enthusiasm, and everything she said sounded rehearsed and stale. We felt like we needed to entertain her the entire ride. It's unfortunate, as the... More

We took the 2-hour ride with Christina, one of the owners. It turned out to be just my husband and myself. The ride was up a hill behind the property through old growth redwoods. You ride an hour up then turn around and ride back the same way. The ride is shaded the entire way except for the portion from... More

My daughter talked me into taking the ride and I am glad she did. This was so much fun and beautiful. The guide and the horses were great!

Upon our trip to the North Coast we decided to go horseback riding. I called and spoke with Kimberly who gave us a choice of 10am or 2pm. We opted for the morning ride due to other obligations in the area. We arrived to find we were the only riders that day and everything was prepared for our two hour... More

Horseback riding in Redwood National Forest. Really, what could be better? Christina and Kimberly (plus two kids) expertly guided we four (dad, mom, two young teens) on a foggy, chilly day on the "picnic ride", 4 hours -- what scenery! Very friendly, unpretentious, knowledgeable guiding (safety first, but not in an overbearing way), docile but not stupid horses, and a... More

We were up at Jedediah Smith, and my daughters 14 and 10 wanted to ride... we called Redwood Adventures, and they put us in touch with this local stable at the Orick Rodeo Grounds. The staff were wonderful, and the ride was wonderful. There aren't enough good things to say about the experience! The guide pointed out all kinds of... More

We took the 2 hour ride and saw an amazing variety of foliage and massive trees. The ride was gentle and slow paced so we were able to soak up the beauty around us. At the top of the trail we caught glimpses of the Pacific and could faintly hear the surf. Our guide was knowledgable and friendly. So glad... More

Kimberly & Kristina(sp) (sisters) & the daughters(Kayla & Taylor!) are so friendly & helpful. The daughters helped us figure out which horse was which & their personalities & Kristina & Kimberly made sure we were on the most appropriate mount. It was a little hard to find a stable in the area, and we are happyto have found Redwood Creek... More
