We didn't get to stay very long, but we really liked this park! It's in a picturesque part of town. It's very large; great for family gatherings. We had a few young kids who loved the train ride. We got to see peacocks. They have many other things to do like pathways to walk on, lakes to fish in or... More

Lots going on here during my visit. There is a railroad to ride, pond with paddle boats, bicycle rentals, pony rides. Hiking trails. Lots of birthday parties. I suggest you arrive early. I arrived around 10am, drove right in. Upon leaving 3 hours later, the line to get into the park was way past the entrance (probably a 30 minute... More

We are from Switzerland and were visiting our daughter. We wanted to go on a nature walk and she just looked at us blankly. This is Orange County, it's the strip mall capitol of California. THANKFULLY, we found this on the map and were so pleasantly surprised that one could in fact take a lovely walk through this wonderfully maintained... More

I used to live in the area, and walked there probably 4-5 times per week. Even though I was in a big city, I didn't feel like it. There's enough trails to never get bored. I got to know some of the rangers and they were really on top of everything. Great spot for picnics too

Sunday 25, got there around 12:30, park was very crowded but I was able to find a grill, close to a tree that provided good shade, and good parking spots they were plenty still available. We were a party of 6, and were expecting some friends and family to come join us in a couple hours, to our surprise they... More

I go here once a week with my dogs. You could walk for 30 minutes or hike for a couple hours....pretty much depends on your energy level. My dogs, of course, beat me in this respect ! Do you want to stay in a very civilized area, the lake, the zoo, picnic area or would you rather take a walk... More
