I go here once a week with my dogs. You could walk for 30 minutes or hike for a couple hours....pretty much depends on your energy level. My dogs, of course, beat me in this respect ! Do you want to stay in a very civilized area, the lake, the zoo, picnic area or would you rather take a walk... More

This is a beautiful park for a barbecue, a picnic, or just a nice long walk with the dog. It's got great facilities for enjoying nature, plus some fun activities: kid's train, horse rental, bike rental, paddle boats. Great place to spot some native animals if you go early in the morning.

A great place to take the grandchildren. Train rides, Zoo, lake, picnic tables, paddle bikes .some of the events charge a fee, but they are reasonable. The area is shaded by lovely big trees.
