the Museum is closed and looked like it will not be open for a considerable amount of time, many months..
Came here on a Saturday morning and happened upon a walking tour just about to start. We and our girls 8 and 11 really enjoyed it. Nice weather, low 70s. The guide would lead us short distances to shady areas, most with some sort of seating. Very informative. Included museum entrance afterwards.
The Ojai Valley Museum has great influence in Ojai. It's exhibits are interesting and usually have to do with Ojai Valley. It was showing an exhibit of the ranching families when I went. I really enjoyed it. It also has some great artifacts from the area and is a nice way to start your visit in Ojai.
Great little museum to learn the history of the area. Takes about 1 hr. To see We were there on a day with free admission. Great temporary exhibit of the local farms.

I'd actually go back if I was in the area because it't exactly what... More

We have been to a lot of huge museums that take hours to go through so my kids were pretty relieved when they realized that this museum only had two big rooms in it. They had a small collection of taxidermy animals, a bit on the Chumash, and then other peoples... More
