Upon arrival into Ojai we made it our business to stop into the new Ojai Vineyards to do a tasting. It's a cute tasting room and for $15 my husband and I shared a tasting. We are only interested in reds but their tasting consists of 2 whites and three reds - no exceptions, so we did their tasting. Predictably... More

Adam Tolmach leases land at the best vineyard properties and transforms the grape into a magic elixir. This is true craftsmanship which you can taste. He prefers the French approach of Terroir rather than the heavily "Parkerized" juices. He has a wide variety of grape and price. The Ojai Red and Ojai White are probably the best bargain wines available... More

If you hum along while tasting the delicious wines at this tasting room, you can say it's a delight to all of your senses. For your eyes, there's the fabulous renovation of the former fire station framed in vines on the outside, filled with fruit of the vine inside. For the nose and palate, take a seat at the tasting... I went in here for advice and a recommendation of a nice local wine to purchase for my boss and was ignored. The employee at the wine bar never looked up or acknowledged us in any way. The tasting room is lovely and maybe the wine is good but I wouldn't know because no one could we bothered to help... More

The Ojai Vineyard's new tasting room is gorgeous! Spacious, great bar, and very friendly, extremely knowledgeable staff about vineyards history and the region. The quality and selection of their wines seem to be improving every year, and their new tasting room makes the wines taste even better :)

We just visited this tasting room in September 2015. What a nice tasting room and really friendly staff. We were lucky, we got there before the crowds came in. We had a few moments to talk to the two guys there and discuss the history of the vineyard and try a couple of glasses of wine. They were very informative... More

The perfect setting to taste their fine wine selections. The wines are among the best in the area. The tasting room is beautifully appointed with local decor, flowers and wall of wines which you are invited to go into to checkout the wines closely. Impressive. It's within walking distance of anything in town and close to restaurants when your appetite... More

Good wines great experience in renovated firehouse. I love the wine barrel door-ask them to show you the inside). Interaction with the staff was wonderful. Great experience.

I loved this place. The wine was very good (except 1) and the woman who helped us was SO nice and helpful. It was a great stop while we did a little exploring in town.

Focusing on pinot noir, chardonnay and syrah, this winery's downtown-Ojai tasting room is a great way to introduce yourself to the area's wines. It's one of the best wineries, to my tastes, in the entire Santa Barbara-Ojai-Buellton-Santa Maria-Santa Rita area. These are not fruit-bomb wines. They're made in a more restrained, sophisticated style favoring vineyard expression and balance above everything,... More
