A view into the past. Not to be missed. The entire family will enjoy this outing, especially history buffs and the teen aged children in your group

If you liked Back to the Future you'll love taking in the buildings. If your a couple great photo opportunity. Spent a little time sitting down and taking in the atmosphere of times gone.

more history, roughly covering the period of Oceanside's founding in the 1880's to the turn of the century and early 1900's. Lots of artifacts and the obligatory one room school house! Show your Kids what Great grandma and grandpa's life was like.

Unable to visit and see this attraction (?) because access was blocked by locked gates. I took one picture of a cross which site on a small hill adjacent to the road. We were disappointed to miss it. Recommend you skip the attempted to find it and visit.

They had great music...many booths...some with food and drinks. North County Model Railroad Assoc. is building a wonderful Model Train layout.

There are just a bunch of buildings in a circle. Met the caretaker and had a nice chat with him but really not worth the effort

We attended an event in support of a local Oceanside candidate on a Sunday. The live music was provided by Cowboy Jack Johnson (a local and very excellent Hank Williams/Johnny Cash music performer,) they also had an "ice-cream social" ongoing at Heritage Park on that Sunday and the ice cream was great! A "must experience" location in Oceanside, CA!

I've live in Oceanside for years and have driven by the "Heritage Park Open Sunday 1-4" sign hundreds of times. So we got ourselves together and went over. Ok -- the park gate was unlocked and there are buildings but they were locked with no schedule posted of when they might be open. The buildings look interesting as they are... More
