Miner Family Vineyards is a dynamic family owned winery tucked into the eastern hills of the Oakville appellation, squarely within the heart of Napa Valley. Founded in 1998 by Dave & Emily Miner along with his folks Ed & Norma, Miner is defined first and foremost by a sensational portfolio of wines, wines consistently characterized by and committed to individualistic style and uncommon quality. In only a few short years, Miner has identified, sought and secured a number of California's finest vineyard sites to produce and showcase a wide array of varietals. Each wine is crafted in a style to encapsulate the distinctive elements and the indelible fingerprints of their respective vineyards. This combination of excellent vineyard sites along with passionate and thoughtful winemaking injects the necessary components for creating profoundly joyful wines.

We happened upon Miner Winery a few years ago. We loved each wine they poured. We decided to join the wine club. The place does get busy but if you grab a comfy seat outside or find a spot inside the tasting room and relax you wI'll have a great experience. The service is wonderful & staff are super friendly.... More

We were a little hesitant to take the $35 tour, but signed up anyway (make reservations!). To our surprise, we realized that their tours are all private rather than being group tours at we had done at other locations. We loved our tour guide, Melissa, and were very please with her wine knowledge and the time she took to sit... More

I arrived almost as they were closing but they treated me beautifully. I explained that I had been back in 2001 and wanted to return so in only 15 minutes (and then they stayed open a bit later for me to buy wine), I tried 5 different wines, each more delicious than the last. The lady serving my wine and... More

Wine tasting room located on the Silverado Trail. Nice drive. The only wine we liked enough to buy was the pricey $90 Oracle Red Wine (60% Cabernet Sauvignon). Tasting fee was $25. Good service.

Nice view. The wine was fair. One of the staff did give us a private tour of the “cave” which was very nice.

Jen provided us with a great tasting that was very informative. Each wine was poured in a different glass. There's a beautiful table inside the cave. We sat outside by the front door and enjoyed the view. The couch and chairs were very comfortable. I enjoyed their Pinot.

This wasn't a winery on our schedule and I'm so glad we had a little extra time between tastings to experience Miner!! Wow the wines are fantastic. I would definitely recommend a tasting here

This is a wonderful winery with an amazing view. It has a relaxing upper deck for you to sit on and appreciate some of the best wines, both red and white, that you will taste anywhere.
