Local deli with fresh pastries, sandwiches, cheeses, salads, breads, and condiments of all kinds (mustard, vinegar, olive oil, tapenade). Good wine selection including half bottles great for picnics. They even have Coke in the glass bottle. Fresh coffee bar too. They have picnic tables in the back so just park in the very back of the lot. Nice views of... More

We took a tour at a winery and fellow guests recommended Oakville Grocery for a lunch stop. So happy we listened. Loved the store...lots of speciality foods, great cheeses and meats for a picnic at a winery. It took a while to get the four sandwiches we ordered but it was worth the wait. Not an inexpensive lunch by any... More

Great little place to pick up a quick lunch and spend more time at the wineries. 2nd time we have stopped for lunch and it was as good as the first time. Had the fried chicken sandwich that was delicious and the crab sandwich which was good but was a bit too fishy for me. Yes, their prices are little... More

It is completely unclear to me what the fascination is with this market. 1. Lines were so long, and it was so unclear where to go to order anything, that it felt more like a production line of people being herded like cattle through a sandwich ordering counter. Panera feels classier. 2. There were signs everywhere in the store advertising... More

Get the crab sandwich. Worth the stop. Coffee is great. So is the ambience. Don't listen to the other reviewers. Too much negativity.

Good sandwiches, good cookies, good chips and just the kinds of bottled beverages you'd expect from a suitably pretentious over-priced purveyor...food was good but so much natural amid so much fake...kind of a parody of the Napa experience...

Not bad but not up to the General Store on Dry Creek Road near Healdsburg. The selection is more limited and the atmosphere is not as interesting.

our group of 8 picked up sandwiches for a picnic. They were ok - nothing great. More frustrating were the red signs they had all over the store saying there was a renovation sale and all foods were 50% off. I asked a staff member if that meant the candies I was getting and he confirmed yes - so I... More

We stopped off here on the way out for a quick something to eat. Grabbed a sandwich to split, ice cold cokes in a bottle and some fresh made tangerine lemonade. Ate outdoors under the umbrella at a picnic table. Was perfect!

A classic in the Napa area. Great sandwiches, wine, olive oil, etc. The place gets very busy but is quite efficient.
