So looking forward to visiting this winery which turned out to be so disappointing. The setting is picturesque and the reception and wine parlor very upscale but the wine was not what it should be. It was mediocre at best and after speaking to the attendant they admittingly said that the 2011 was not good and that that the 2010... More

Opus One was our 1st stop of the day and we only had time to do a tasting. Well worth $45 a glass for a generous pour. Took our tasting upstairs and enjoyed the views. Beautiful winery and we were glad to visit. Staff was great at answering any and all questions we had. Great start to our day but... More

My wife and I visited Opus One during our honeymoon and we had a great time! We did the tour not just the tasting and then ended up spending some serious money in the gift shop. The wine was phenomenal and we learned quite a bit about the difference in wines. I highly recommend this to everyone!

The building is cold and sterile looking, no pretty grounds to wander while you sip, the staff is pretentious, and the "tasting" is ridiculous... $45 for a single taste? Get out of here! There are PLENTY of other vineyards with just as good wine (dare I even say a few with better) and for $25-35, you'll taste 3-5 wines. I... More

The best place to taste Opus One is where they make it. A beautiful setting in the center of vineyards, Opus One provides the perfect opportunity to taste the best. Highly recommend making this one of your stops if your doing a tour of the valley.

Overpriced, rude staff and bad wine. I am surprises that they stay in business. $45. For a tasting is absurd. However, it at least, kept us from buying a whole bottle.

Three of us had an appointment for a tour and tasting courtesy of a very lucky flight where my friend sat next to the GM of Opus One. Sandy provided a very interesting and informative tour in impressive surroundings. We were lucky to be there during crush and saw the hand-picked grapes arriving, the incredible computer that follows the hand-sorting,... More

Looks nice but it was cold and impersonal. We wouldn't go back. It looks absolutely amazing from the outside but we were very disappointed with the ambiance or lack thereof.

We were able to tour this winery and have some amazing wine. If you are in Napa this is a great winery to visit.
