My son and I were in San Francisco for just 2 1/2 days. We are big baseball fans, and really wanted to see the Giants, but they weren't in town. So we decided to go to see the A's play the Red Sox. Being in SF and not wanting to take a cab to Oakland for $60 each way, we... More

We took in an Oakland A's game while on vacation and really enjoyed the atmosphere of this stadium. We purchased tickets in the upper level, which entitled us to a $6 food credit -- enough for lunch! The staff were friendly and helpful. The fans were friendly and fun as well. We moved to a shaded area and really enjoyed... More

The only reason I give it a 3 instead of a 2 is because of the food. The restaurant on the club level was reasonably priced and very good; fair warning though the food is a bit spicy (at least what I ordered), but very good. The staff was great too. Other than that the stadium is kind of dumpy.... More

It is a broken down, old, not updated piece of junk coliseum. But is our broken down, old, not updated piece of junk coliseum. :) I have attended games since the early 70s. For a facility this old it is in great shape. The parking is good. Tailgating at O.co is second to none. We have been to 7 different... More

On a recent trip to San Fran, we wanted to continue our goal of seeing all of the MLB parks in our lifetime so we had to get an Oakland A's game in. Our expectations weren't high, and it turned out to be nicer than we expected. This is not the prettiest park I've ever seen, but it was still... More

For a mixed use facility designed for both baseball and football, the coliseum works well. It is protected from the wind quite well, but it is well known for outfielders to loose track of fly balls in the sun. Sit on the west (third base) side in mid summer so you will get more shade in the afternoon. Even though... More

The Oakland As played a great game as usual. I don't attend their games often but I love to go at night when they have the fireworks. They were outstanding again this year.

This is an old place with no ambience to help it out. However, the staff is friendly, the food was good, and once inside, the sight lines aren't too bad.. They need to figure out how to get a crowd in, though. The two dates, I was there, crowds were over 30K. I know they aren't used to this, but... More

This is stadium 15 on our tour of all MLB parks. Likey O.co lands at the bottom of the stadiums so far. One big old hunk of cement. We had row 1 tickets, behind home plate, on the top level. While sitting, we could not see hoe plate! Too much distance between our front row seat and the balcony. Only... More

This was my son's and I first trip to O.co Stadium. We are big Cincinnati Reds fans so when we had the opportunity to see the Reds play there, we decided to check it out. Being used to a nice newer ballpark like Cincinnati's Great American Ballpark, we were dissappointed with O.co. Oakland is in need of a new facility.
