Great music, good food, awesome venue.

Love this place for good music in an intimate setting, hard to get a bad seat. The food is expensive, but we have found things we love and feel are worth the expense!

The Japanese love American Jazz! So what better combo that a first-class Japanese Restaurant together with a first-class music showroom? Yoshi's is just that. With easy access from San Francisco, Oakland, and the Silicon Valley (San Jose and south bay) the restaurant is always busy and the stage attracts both top name acts and up and coming live music. Our... More

What's not to like about Yoshi's which is a cozy and intimate place for shows? Tonight we were there to see Sergio Mendes and I had placed a phone order on Tuesday but somehow, either I reserved the wrong night and time or the woman at the box office reserved the wrong night and time! So when I arrived to... More

I swung by Yoshi's on a rainy early December evening, to attend a performance showcasing my favorite singer-songwriter Anna Nalick. I was aware that she had previously visited the venue and put on a great show, so I was looking forward to her repeating the magic again! I had already seen Anna many times previously in both Los Angeles and... More

Only had general admission seats available. All seats are close to the stage. After the concert we heard from a friend if we would of had dinner there they would have upgraded our seats to closer to the stage. Now we know. 1 drink minimum although I don't think they monitor it closely. You can order off the menu if... More

Yoshi's is a great place to see individual performers/small bands perform in an intimate setting. It's set up like a supper club with tables and chairs but no room to dance. The acoustics are great and the servers are fast, friendly and efficient. It's very convenient to have dinner at the restaurant next door where they will reserve a table... More

They have a amazing watermelon Martini I could not get enough. The food was ok. I would be willing to give it a second try but not right away. And the show was so amazing other than someone sitting in our seats but we had a great time and they do have great drinks our server was so amazing think... More

Great intimate venue. The crowd was all in as we remembered the hits. It was a sing a long for sure. Buying tickets on line was very easy. There was standing room only when I purchased so I new I'd have to stand. Thank God for wall space.

This is wonderful place for not just food but also entertainment. Love the diversity of nightly performers; the venue is intimate and with a mature audience. The menu and food is just as good which is rare...usually you don't get both good music and good food...idk why I'm just saying most places that I've experienced haven't mastered that exceptional duo.... Came here to see Manhattan Transfer perform, and came early enough to sit at the sushi bar and enjoy the food. It's a bit pricey, but for a 'Night Out' it was fine. Odd to see the sushi chefs wearing gloves...just sayin' The front of house took care of our seating for the performance and our waitress brought it to... More
