I never miss the Sunday farmer's market when I am in town. The best part is that it is open year round. There is fresh produce, bakery items, hot food stands, specialty items and so much more! This is definitely my favorite part about Sundays in Oakland!

I don't know what's there to do. I was there on a Sunday morning and maybe people are in Church or something. There's a nice Farmers market though!

Close to high end restaurants and jazz lounges. I arrived in the morning to spend the day with a friend. Modern condos nearby. Nice place to take a walk. Not much more to do here during the day. Many seniors out walking their dogs. Close to yacht club and ferry to San Francisco. I would likely return in the evening... More

My hubby and I have been here twice. Once for the Jack of All Trades Market and the second time the Real Food Festival a couple of months ago... Jack London Square makes a great venue for these types of events as there is lots of open space along the waterfront with great views of the water. Plus great places... More

This is a good place to walk your dog and enjoy a meal, or just a drink, while you people watch. This is a good place to spend an hour or two.

A dignified area that keeps on growing and expanding for a better. There´s no shortage of food options, the marina will always offer a scenic walk, and it is comfortably located next to the SF Ferry dock, next to Oakland´s Chinatown, and way too close to Downtown/Uptown Oakland (have you heard about the free ¨B¨ shuttle?- check it out!) Make... More

If you want to eat and/or drink, stroll around, do a little shopping, some people watching, be by the water, feel like your revisiting some history...a good place to explore. We found easy on the street parking. If we were in town overnight again, we would invest another few hours.

There's a hotel, lots of restaurants, and bowling (where the old Barnes and Noble used to be). Fun place!

Nice restaurants, plenty of room to stroll around on a warm clear day. Not a whole lot to do besides walk, eat and drink. Pretty view of water and marina . Train roars through often and visitors will walking over the railroad tracks to get here; that seemed a little scary. Plenty of parking.

Thank Lynn and James S
