I took the ferry for the first time last year and can't wait to return to do it again. Great ride and no driving/parking stress in SF and drops you right at the piers.

Wonderful location, right on the water. But the eateries were mediocre and the ambiance a bit sketchy

Walking the pier with the yachts, bay, mountains, and music, was very relaxing. I was amazed to see 2 tracks where trains zip through the square. The food was great and the kids loved playing on the unique equipment...so did the adults!

Great location. There are several vacancies, most notably Borders spot. Most of the long times restaurants are still there and doing well. A recent Mexican restaurant had an eviction notice on the door. Hopefull with better economic times things will improve.
