Love comming here for a stroll or checking out the boutiques and antique stores. Great breakfast restaurants & ethnic food restaurants. At the end of the town there's a Whole Foods.

Want a peek into the past? The flavor remains on the main street of "old Novato." Worth a walk through the 4 blocks and the interesting shops.

Not a big town to visit but the main Grant street has shops and restaurants. Nice place to browse for an afternoon and dine…highly recommend Left Coast Depot restaurant for casual dining with delicious comfort food!

A charming "old town" vibe with good restaurants, great shopping, sparkly lit trees lining the main street Grant Avenue. The Farmer's Market is definitely a blast from the past, so is the annual classic car show on Grant Avenue. Annual wine and art fair in June is one of the best in Northern California, always great vendors and live music... More

While visiting my son in Novato, over Christmas, my wife and I spent a leisure afternoon exploring the antique stores, shops and restaurants in Old Town Novato. It made me feel like I was visiting my hometown, in northern Minnesota, during the 1960"s. Very casual and friendly environment.

Great shops and restaurants. Farmers market night. Tree lined. Rustic Bakery is a bay area favorite for baked goods and sandwiches and the best breakfast you have ever had, Marvin's. Both are on Grant Ave. within one block of each other.
