Balboa Island is a fun little area of town that you can get to via the ferry or by roads. There are a lot of one way streets and on the weekends it's pretty crowded. That being said its a fun little place to hang out and visit the shops/ restaurants.

Our family visited Balboa Island the month of December! It was beautifully decorated! Lights every where! The houses have a contest for best decorated, most lights, traditional theme, etc! Weather was beautiful!
