Getting out of my car at Fashion Island, I tore my thumbnail, below the "quick". Rather than trying to gnaw the rest of it off of my finger, I rushed to find a nail salon. What a beautiful outdoor shopping mall. Lovely fountains, seating areas and even a koi pond! Family friendly of course. If you have time to spare it's worth a visit even if you don't plan on buying. There is a wide range of both "regular" stores as well as high-end stores, pretty much anything you are looking for.

But expensive shops only, not much choice ... no oakley store, no apple store common !!! Nice place to eat and wander a bit, no my place for shopping.

I never pass a shopping area. I love to shop. I don't always buy but I love to browse. The selection of stores here is great. You can get a bargain If you look. The food area is great. I had a free evening during a conference in the area and the hotel recommended I visit this mall. It was very unique and beautiful with a neat selection of shops. Another one of my favorite malls! So many diverse stores to choose from! Great places to eat. I love that it's outside!

Fashion Island has everything My favorite place to shop. True California feel and so close to the beach!
