We attended the Queen Nation Concert in January at the Lido Theatre and had a fabulous experience. We love the Queen tribute band, but seeing them in this small, intimate theatre, was just icing on the cake! This art-deco venue, is fantastic. It will be even better once they get a food and beverage license so they can serve something... More

This little art deco gem is very cool. Back in the day, going to the movies was an event, and this theatre represents that made of mind!

Not too many of these left! The LIDO is a ONE screen old fashioned theatre, but well restored and preserved. Marine art from the 40's decorates the walls and ceilings. Love it.

Great little theater - give it a try. New movies in an updated old fashioned (clean and remodeled) little theater. No hassles and easy access. Nice to be in a stand alone without a big mall!

The Lido, its neon Grand Marquee, and old-fashioned ticket booth are so charming. Inside you'll find little touches, red velvet comfortable seats, a powder room inspired by Bette Davis (who insisted the Ladies Room be located on the main floor), neon lights, painted sea life on the walls, and balcony seating. We love the Lido Theater!

This theater takes you back to when you were a kid and there were still balcony seats and a single free standing ticket booth. It is so cool inside - day glow underwater scenes on the walls and old time sconces on the walls. Clean and fresh inside with nicely upholstered seats and pleasant people working the snack bar. I... Lido Theater is a nice vintage, small town theatre but there is nothing else to do aronud there. The village other than Lido Book Store (which is wonderful!!!!) is a dead zone all boat charter places, no palce to eat or shop.

Love this little retro theatre. It shows first rate films and is part of the Newport Beach Film Festival! It's like going to another era when movie houses were truly grand, personal & timeless.

The huge reclining leather chair is a great plus and you can have wine served while watching the movies. It's worth the extra dollars.

Perfect setting to see the Monuments Men movie. We liked the balcony, terrific view of the screen and comfortable too.
