We try to play here at least once when in SoCal. Expensive but beautiful course. Have only played the south course, love the ocean holes. Treated well, full golf shop. This time the round played a little slow, after waiting on several holes the marshall came thru to try to adjust player's position to speed things up. Personally I highly... More

I have played the golf courses several times. It is no Pebble Beach but the venue is very nice. I have dined in the casual restaurant on several occasionsn. The service was very good and the food was adequate. Overall this place is very expensive and I think there are numerous other establishments in this area that provide much better... More

His was my second time to play golf at Pelican Hill, the last being almost 20 years ago. The views and the golf were even better than I remembered. The day started with the driving range - large enough to accommodate our group. Then, the nicest golf cart I've ever used (seems kinda silly to say that, but notable nonetheless).... More

play the south course, it has great views of the ocean. the course is fair but very pretty, it had just been aerated the week before and was healing nicely, The greens were a little slow but we knew that going out. Great layout and spectacular views.

We played the south course at Pelican Hill which is tighter than the north course and runs right down to the ocean. There are many great holes with #18 being one of the toughest finishing holes I've ever played. The par 3s are also tough with most stretching out more than 165 yards. The exception is the two ocean holes.... More

Everything at Pelican Hill is top notch. The restaurants, hotel and golf course all all top rated. The view is spectacular...a clear days you can see Catalina and miles of Southern California beaches.

2 nice fazio courses, north front 9 is the strongest in my opinion, with a couple of great finishing holes, but 10-16 pretty ordinary. south had a nice flavor overall, but "oceanside" holes are pretty ordinary - back to back par 3's with ocean to the left, and 2 ordinary holes coming towards and playing away from the ocean view.... Wonderful resort and Golf Course. Played the South Course and it is beautiful. We were told between the North and South course to play the South. I'm sure you can't go wrong with either one. Breathtaking views of the ocean and the resort is superb!

Both challenging and breathtaking, this course is a true beauty. Caddies are excelent, so is the clubhouse and the course maintenance. If you like golf and are in the area, it's a must to reserve a tee time.
