We golfed Pelican Hill mid September. We had a 2:35 tee off and only finished 16 holes because it got too dark. I saw carts with 3:30 and later tee times. It is crazy they let people tee off and don't tell them to only expect to get in 16 or fewer holes. There are head lights on the carts... more

Played both courses on recent trip. South course beautifully landscaped, mostly down in the canyons, not as many views of ocean, but still wonderful. Then played Ocean North...wow...breathtaking. A very nice experience but the South Course probably wasn't worth the cost. Clubhouse and Grill is first rate design and quality. The golf carts have plush leather seats and all have laser range finders in the carts. The course itself was a little mickey mousey, but had some nice ocean views. more

Just played the North Course @ Pelican Hill. The overall experience was terrific. The course is a great Fazio design which plays fair with generous fairways but with lots of canyons hungry for your balls. The greens could a been better (faster). The golf was good but highly overrated - a real snob shop - if you want to waste upwards of $1,500 for a foursome for the day by all means come here. Practice facility was mats in mud, and putting green was pathetic. Golf course was nice but not worth the hassle of the attitude and environment. more
