This was my 3rd experience on a private charter out of dAaveys locker. We rounded up 15 of my close high school friends and went out for an "all day boat" A day boat in my eyes is a 24 hr period of good times with friends. Catching fish is just the by product of going out and throwing some... more

Apparently it's called a 3/4 day fishing trip because you spend 3/4 of your day cruising out to Catalina and then looking for places to fish. Not so much time spent actually fishing. Deck hands weren't terribly helpful. Captain wasn't terribly excited to have us onboard. All in all, a lot of money spent for a couple pounds of calico... more

i had heard good things about the fishing boat FREELANCE.. however they really are not much help for those who are new to fishing .. i took my 2 sons out on a 3/4 day boat .. i pulled a deck hand aside gave him 20.00 and asked him to help out since my sons are new to saltwater fishing... more
