The staff and the crowd are super friendly here. The RV spots on the water are fantastic. The store is clean and has many basic needs including ice. We found the restrooms to be very clean with hot showers for only a few quarters. They also have a nice little spot with water spouts for the kids to play. We... More

While on an RV trip, we stopped off for a few days at Buckskin Mountain State Park near Parker, Arizona. We decided to take a jetboat tour of Lake Havasu that included a 90 minute lunch stop at a restaurant-bar-grill, named Pirate's Cove, right on the water, somewhere near Needles, California. We were given menus on the tour boat so... More

Our family visited here from Las Vegas to have a fun little day trip with a little sun, sand, and enjoy a nice dinner out. While it is picturesque and had a variety of activities to do (if you have deep pockets), I was very disappointed to walk into the restaurant and see that the "family friendly" vibe burn up... More

Website makes claims that this place cannot back up ... escort to site - no; no wifi - tried most everywhere one blip at most and then denied request to join; courtesy staff - no; boutique and general store - nope - they wont sell merchandise and have about 12 food items for sale. The RV sites have no fire... More

$50.00 a night and all you get is a plot of sand, no fire ring, no table, just a bunch of drunk individuals partying all night and management that doesn't enforce the quiet hours rules, in fact you won't even see any park personnel patrolling the areas to ensure all of the people staying there are ok. Management is uncaring... More

I have been retired for 15 years and have stayed at many places. This is my new favorite. The sites are right on the shoreline of the Colorado River. The spaces are dirt but they all have full hook ups. The Pirate Cove bar and restaurant is a great place to relax and is a very convenient location. It is... More

We stayed at Pirate cove Nov. and Dec 2014. There web site looked great and looked as if we could keep our boat in the river at our camp site, that was not possible because of large rocks and water fluctuation. Also the brush is so thick and tall around the camp sites that you have very little view of... More
