Considering we have 9 children and 15 grandchildren, we finally got a turn to go to the "River" with our youngest daughter and her husband to see what all the fuss was about. Even though we live a half an hour from the beach, the 4+ hour drive to the river was quite an adventure! We stayed with family and... More

I really love Pirate Cove Resort!! The peninsula campsites are amazing!! Right on the river with semi private beaches. All of the staff are helpful and friendly!! The only issue I had was VERY LIMITED cell signal/WiFi. It's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

You can park on the beautiful Colorado River with the mountains in the background. Crystal clear water. Lots of activities. Individual private bathroom/showers but you have to pay to shower with quarters.

I recommend securing a camping spot on the river. Water & Power included. A very relaxing get-a-way.

We return to this resort every year. We rent the cabins on the beach side during Monday through Friday. It is a beautifully maintained and decorated resort with full amenities. Cabins are well stocked with everything you could need. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, patio with BBQ! AWESOME!

Really busy, hip, trendy, they have a DJ, very tiny dancing area, food is good yet pricey. Drinks are fairly decent.

Bad place for Senior Couples, good place for families. Check-in took a looong time. Clerks were not friendly and almost arrogant. Site numbers were not well marked. Showers were coin operated, bring your quarters. Very tacky at their prices. Gravel everywhere, paved almost non-existent. Beautiful river waterfront. Our GPS's did not recognize their address. (Have vehicle GPS and Good Sam... More

The resort staff is very friendly. Be sure you check in only a few minutes before 3pm. The crowd at the RV Campground are super friendly and are willing to lend a hand if needed. My family and I love coming here book early for a guaranteed spot. Full hook ups a few minor power outages but the river is... More
