I really liked the Oxbow Public Market. It is basically an indoor upscale farmers market cheese, wine, chocolates, cupcakes, restaurants and more. We went in the morning and had breakfast there from two different places and enjoyed both. The little coffee place at the one end has great coffee. Be prepared to wait five minutes for it as it is... LOVE this place - basically heaven if you like food. From wine to cheese to oysters to cupcakes, this place has everything. Want a burger - BAM, feel like a pizza - BAM, fancy a dozen oysters - BAM, caramel sea salt cupcake craving - BAM, BAM, BAM - it's all there. So cute, too, with cute storefronts and lots... More

I was very pleasantly surprised by this very contemporary, cool place. It had a great selection of cafes and restaurants. There's quite a bit going on: the market stall area is good (smoothies seem overpriced), the coffee is excellent, the tacos are ok, the steak was great (pick your own and take it home or have it cooked and served... This is a delightful place to visit when you are in Napa. There are lots of things to see and taste here. One visit was not enough to sample all the different restaurants. Ca' Momi is there as well as Hog Island and a number of other restaurants. There are delightful shops: Whole Spice with jars and jars of spices... More

Having seen public markets in MANY places, this was an interesting diversion. Forget Reading Terminal in Philly, or the Public Market in Baltimore - this is clearly the "Napa" spin on the idea. I'm not sure any middle class citizen spends much of their weekly dollars here, but it is pretty cool for us vacationers. I've never seen a more... More

Sometimes when you are traveling, it hard to find satisfying gluten-free breakfast items. My daughter read about the Oxbow Public market and was eager to try Cate & Co.'s 100 gluten free bakery. We were able to enjoy breakfast sandwiches (something we almost never have) and even shared a cinnamon roll--something we would never make for ourselves and that are... More
