We stopped in early one weekday last week and made the rounds of all of the "booths" before spending any money. We would have had oysters if they had been open, but, alas, we were too early. We did spend some money on some bottles of chocolate and I got three of the delicious chocolate-covered cherries. We are going to... More

We were up in Napa for a week long conference and friends recommended OxBow Market. There is a large variety of different types of food to choose from. We had duck and lamb tacos at Pica Pica that were outstanding. Also try their chili rubbed roasted chicken. To top off the meal were had cupcakes and Three Twins ice cream.... More

Expect to drop some coin if you're coming to dine or shop at Oxbow. It is however worth every penny. Locally sourced, often organic, artisan foods and wares. It can get very crowded during tourist season so go on a weekday if you can and avoid prime meal times. I recommend walking the loop before making your culinary selections. On... More

I could live in this place and never eat anywhere else and I would die happy. So much fresh, local, organic, gluten-free food. A feast for the senses. Highlights were Three Twins ice cream, C Casa, and Cate and Co. If you happen to follow a Paleo diet, are vegetarian, vegan, or just enjoy really good food and find yourself... More

We were on the way to St. Helena, too hungry to drive up further for lunch. We were glad we found Oxbow Public Market. It has a varieties of different cuisine. I guess it's because of Napa, some of the price tags are in the high end in public market like the fruit and veggies store, Cate & Co. But... More

The Oxbow Public Market is just a cool place to hang out at. There is great variety of good eats to try and nice wines to sip. Try the sandwiches at Pica Pica. They are made of maize, very tasty. Though the staff there was a little lacking in social skills. If you happen to be in Napa, you absolutely... More

Marin County is currently battling a resolution that would create a permanent structure for the farmers market in San Rafael at the Civic Center. With booths, restrooms, covered space, etc, the farmers market in Marin would effectively become like the Oxbow Public Market in Napa. Change is change, and it isn't always for the better (especially for local patrons). For... More

This is a great place to find gourmet food for a quick snack, breakfast, or lunch. It's not cheap, but this is not ordinary food. I especially enjoyed the Bahn Mi sandwich at Cate & Co. If you are gluten intolerant, this is heaven. All of their baked goods are gluten free - from cookies to breads. C Casa is... More

I have been to this market three times. I have tried fish tacos (can't remember the name of the place that sells them) that were delicious, and pizza at Ca'Momi. The pizza and the wine are great, and I love looking at all of the little shops in the market. Great food, great prices in a casual and eclectic atmosphere.... More

Nice clean market, offering olive oil, truffles, oyster bars, and other home goods. Would have loved to had time to try some but we ate at Gotts Burgers instead.
