Their tasting fee was $40 and afforded the tiniest taste of each wine in Napa Valley. The grounds are beautiful, the atmosphere is a bit "uppity" and their wine is much more valuable to them than it is to me. Would not recommend.

Darioush Winery Has Persian Architecture Holy Ayatollah!!  We purposefully finish our winery reviews with perhaps the most dramatic, most striking, most amazing architecture and setting of all the vineyards we visited (and we only shared the most interesting ones with trip advisor). Darioush Winery was almost beyond words to describe the stylishness, elegance, and sophistication.  We probably should have known we were... More

We enjoyed a Food and Wine paining that started out great and only got better and better! Our first tasting was in a beautiful "living room" which felt like home! We had a wonderful tour of the grounds and ended up in Darioush's private wine cellar for our food and wine pairing. The foods all were a wonderful compliment to... More

Darioush makes great wine. We were surprised what they were able to do in a very difficult 2011. Try their Syraz. Their blend (Duel) is great, although we weren't as thrilled with the 2011 blend as we were with prior years. If you haven't been there before, you will likely be quite surprised by the architecture of the visitors center.

Beautiful building, high class feel. They served pistachios with the tasting. The wines were very good. Was a pleasurable experience and we bought a bottle. Worth the visit.

Snooty bartender and average wines (at best) compared to others within 3 miles of here. Much better wines/value elsewhere.

Darioush is a beautiful place for a wine tasting and great atmosphere. David was fantastic and really made the experience that much more enjoyable. The wines were really good and we found some we thoroughly enjoyed (and purchased). The story of Darioush is so interesting and especially knowing that the tasting room was built to recreate the city in Iran... More

Took a private tour with wine and cheese pairing and the hostess was extremely knowledgeable- excellent conversation throughout the tour. I was not necessarily a wine lover but my traveling companions are and so I was not expecting to care so much about any of it but perhaps it was the cheese pairing or the whole experience but we had... The facility was stunning and well worth the visit. BUT don't sign up for a $40 wine tasting! We booked well in advance and were seated in an alcove off the lobby. We were offered two whites and two reds. The red was the same wine just consecutive years. There was no personal attention as the host poured 1 oz.... More

The location is a bit hard to find as the signage was small. but we managed to find the location. They designed the building as old Persian style. Both interior and exterior of the building is nice. However the wine selection itself is so so. The tasting of two wines cost you around 20$ so is not so cheap compare... More
