We splurged and did the "By Invitation Only" tasting tour. There was nothing like walking through the barrel rooms, tasting wines directly from the barrels and enjoying a food and wine pairing in Darioush very own wine cellar. We even had the pleasure of meeting him. It was our last wine tasting and the most impressive. We can not wait... More

I visited Darioush for the first time about 9 years ago when it was a less known attraction in Napa. People looked at it design and wondered what the heck the wine could be about if this middle eastern building was to represent the style. As you pull into their driveway you see a beautiful water feature and striking building.... More

Darioush was an amazing stop on our visit throughout the Napa Valley. I saw a picture of their winery's Persian architecture online and immediately knew I wanted to make a stop their. The grounds are beautiful and a sight to see in person. My wife and I went in for a tasting and ended up buying a few bottles of... More

This is a setting that is hard to believe. The columns are awesome. Better yet, the wines are very very good. We enjoyed our tasting very much.

I went on an invited and was excited because of all the hype. When I first arrived I felt I was driving into a mini Vegas Hotel. I am not one to judge a place by looks, but it was just not for me. The service was excellent and everyone was very nice. I knew the tasting was pricey, so that... More

The grounds are a jaw dropping spectacle, much like a Las Vegas experience. We were awestruck with the utter beauty of the setting and architecture. We were received like VIPS at reception and felt very welcomed. We had made reservations for the wine and cheese pairing tour and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were initially escorted out to an outside... More

Darioush Winery is architecturally interesting. It is definitely an interesting one to see and also if into photography to take pictures of. However, the wine tasting itself is one of the least welcoming experiences we have had in Napa. The wines are not as good as other more "Napa Valley" like wineries we have visited. As such, I have given... More

Beautiful building...had high hopes. Found it overrated, pretentious and the wines were not good in comparison to other, less hyped wineries. Our server spent no time explaining any of the wines he poured and was just absolutely rude. He was having problems with a group sitting by us (not surprised!) and he let it show. We felt rushed, as if... More

Preface: I am an Oenophile who has visited more than 30 vineyards in Napa and probably more than 100 worldwide. Darioush is a first and foremost a beautiful vineyard. Darioush and his wife Shahpar are very invested in their vineyard. Its obvious from the moment you set foot on the ground that this is about passion (having met him, I... More

From the minute we entered the grounds, we were "wowed"! The gardens and the building are beautiful and every wine that we tasted was fantastic! The staff was professional, informative and friendly. This was my first visit to Darioush and I can't wait to go back - a must see if you are in the area!
