Visited Darioush for the first time. The architecture of the winery is a scaled down copy of the ruins of Persepolis, as grand as it is tacky. Its as if BV erected a scaled down copy of the Eiffel tower on its grounds... moving on,,, The employees were pleasant, explained the prices of tasting (which is fairly pricey,at $40 per... More

We've been to Darioush to wander through and been there to buy without reservations and always had a good time. The secret is to arrive early before the crowds that drive out from SF. You've got an hour to get the undivided attention of the staff who for us have always been great. We've never had the bad experience that... More

We visited Darioush Winery today and were very disappointed. Went inside and were wondering around, looking at the beautiful vases and gadgets, for more than ten minutes, there were 5 employees and not even one of them approached us. Not even a Good Afternoon. We simply left.. If they don't have time for us, We surely don't have either for... More

Aimee, I’m terribly sorry to hear of your experience with us yesterday. I apologize for our lack of attentiveness to your arrival, and the critical first minutes of your visit. It is equally disappointing to hear as I’m certain it was to experience, as we train our teams on our core values, the most important of which is to make... More

We made the mistake of not making a reservation, so we weren't able to taste any wines, but this place is stunning and the staff was so nice and let us walk around and offered to make a reservation for the following day, but we had other plans. I will make sure to return here with reservations!

This is a gorgeous looking property, but their wines are average and overpriced. I didn't feel any warmth from the staff at all. It was pretty much, "hey" and no extra personal touches. There was 1 person that smiled at us and said "hello" though so I guess not everyone is cold. Darioush Winery is however very pretty for pictures... More

Walking into Darioush is like walking into a spa in another part of the world. The entire experience was incredible. I highly recommend you do a private wine & cheese pairing. We had an amazing guide, David, who made our entire visit everything & more than we could ever expect! Darioush, for us, is the definition of a luxury vineyard... More

Ok, what to say about this place. YES, it is a beautiful place, and that's about it. I love wine and drinking good wines, but here, you will be disappointed. The red ones are awful and I must say, they tasted like cheap wines you can buy at the supermarket. The white ones, only one was good. The price of... More

I visited Darioush with a group of 20 somethings, we had our reservations months in advance knowing exactly how much our tasting would cost. Derk was our waiter and treated us as though we couldn't afford to be there. He made sure we understood the cost of the tasting. The wine was nothing to write home about. I recommend Duckhorn... 1. Glorified tribute to owner home land, why why why 2. The feeling they impart is one of exclusion 3. Staff are snobs. They call them selves wine educators and sommeliers but are just sales people with a script. 4 Don't go if your under dressed, younger they will brush you aside. You are assessed s soon as you walk... More

By far one of the most interesting places I have ever been. This was our first trip to Napa with five days of winery visits (3 per day) planned by a long-time Iranian friend. The history of this winery is remarkable. It is built like the ancient castle of Percepilos. Persepolis is the Greek name for the ancient city of... More

Thank you for the thoughtful review, it was our pleasure hosting you for Fine Wines, Artisan Cheeses. I truly hope you enjoy sharing the Viognier and Shiraz you discovered while with us – both are exciting, food friendly... More
