Absolutely a total waste of $75. Take your $75, buy a nice $30-$40 bottle of wine a whole foods in Napa and go to lunch at a nice place, or find a place to have a picnic. This was the most expensive wine 'tour' in Napa. What you do is end up tasting unready wine drawn from a wine 'thief'... More

Our fourth time visiting Del Dotto. Touring the caves is an intimate way to taste some great wines that you can't find everywhere. We love the end of the tour with the cheeses, meats, chocolate and new-to-us: Pizza! Such a great way to spend a few hours in Napa!

My wife and I frequent Napa Valley every summer for at least a week and we have gone through many tours so trust me when I say that if you only have time for one tour in Napa Valley this is the one you need to go one. First off, you get to visit their cave...which is a treat in... More

The staff was very welcoming when we arrived. We were quickly checked in and given some wine to sample. Chris, our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the vineyard, the Del Dotto family, and the wine making process. We toured the caves and sampled some wonderful wines. Chris did a great job getting our preferences and catering... More

This is a MUST do. The tour of the caves is amazing, and very educational. I loved it. B careful though because you might "sample" taste more than you think and be a bit buzzed when you leave. Really fabulous wine and great people.

The wine tasting is pretty good because you get to try about 10 really delicious wines and get a robust history lesson on the wines. They will also feed you good pizza and cheese at the end of the tour. The wine cellar/cave is gorgeous and a really fun experience. There's nothing like it. BUT... It's expensive. The tour cost... Great experience at Del Dotto with Tim. He was energetic and fun. The wine was delicious, and we purchased some to bring home. Great experience tasting directly from the barrels!

I was interested in the barrel tasting concept and comparisons but felt like the hosts description of it as the Pepsi challenge was more accurate -- rehearsed and gimmicky. Earlier in the day tasted at least three wines in the high 90s too so our expectations may have been particularly high. We aren't fans of group tours or Italian grapes... More

We booked the "cave tour" on a friend's recommendation. It was awesome! The wine was fabulous, but what made our tour so great was our guide, Dan. We was so entertaining! He made it really fun! He was personable and very knowledgeable. This tour takes you through a cave and you get to sample wines while in there as well... More

We did the cave tour and barrel tasting as our last stop of the day in Napa. Our guide was awesome ! He was funny, informative and energetic the entire time. We were lucky enough to piggy back on to a VIP tour and got the "full treatment." Plentiful barrel tastings with additional pours if requested and sufficient time in... More
