Do not miss this winery!! We visited the newer Del Dotto property. I came with my sister-in-law and we did the delicacies tasting. Its $100 but worth every penny! The experience was unlike any of the other 9 wineries we visited that weekend. You get a cave tour (these are modern caves finished in 2007) but nonetheless beautiful with all... More

A must see spot with original caves and an beautiful property. The tour was fantastic (only four of us) and the guide was excellent. We wound up buying a few cases and still get their emails. Their Cab Franc port was OUTSTANDING in 2007! I hope to go back in the near future.

YUMMMMM! what a unique experience. Our guide Alex was phenomenal. Great knowledge of winemaking, barrel making, wine differences and overall general knowledge of the industry. He made the experience that much better. Be prepared for lots of tastings of very different wines. I have tasted wines all over the US and Europe but this was the most unique tasting experience.... Very interesting and informative tour. Tasting from the barrels in the caves was a new experience which we really enjoyed. Food paring at the end was a great touch too.

The tour of the caves at the Del Dotto Vineyard in Napa is a must doactivity while you're in Napa Valley. The price is more than the average $15-20 tasting fee but it's well worth the extra for the wonderful cave experience and the standard of wines tasted. There's also some cheeses and meats to try at the end. The... More

We had reservations for a guided wine tour in the caves at Del Dotto Vineyards. What a tremendous experience with a friendly and articulate guide. Best wine of the trip - hands down!! Learned so many details about the art of wine making and enjoyed the experience for it's uniqueness, attention to detail and staff presentation. You would be amiss... More

Absolutely a total waste of $75. Take your $75, buy a nice $30-$40 bottle of wine a whole foods in Napa and go to lunch at a nice place, or find a place to have a picnic. This was the most expensive wine 'tour' in Napa. What you do is end up tasting unready wine drawn from a wine 'thief'... More

Our fourth time visiting Del Dotto. Touring the caves is an intimate way to taste some great wines that you can't find everywhere. We love the end of the tour with the cheeses, meats, chocolate and new-to-us: Pizza! Such a great way to spend a few hours in Napa!
