I was interested in the barrel tasting concept and comparisons but felt like the hosts description of it as the Pepsi challenge was more accurate -- rehearsed and gimmicky. Earlier in the day tasted at least three wines in the high 90s too so our expectations may have been particularly high. We aren't fans of group tours or Italian grapes... More

We booked the "cave tour" on a friend's recommendation. It was awesome! The wine was fabulous, but what made our tour so great was our guide, Dan. We was so entertaining! He made it really fun! He was personable and very knowledgeable. This tour takes you through a cave and you get to sample wines while in there as well... More

We did the cave tour and barrel tasting as our last stop of the day in Napa. Our guide was awesome ! He was funny, informative and energetic the entire time. We were lucky enough to piggy back on to a VIP tour and got the "full treatment." Plentiful barrel tastings with additional pours if requested and sufficient time in... More

My wife & I just visited the Del Dotto Caves Winery for the 4th time and will not go again. They completely changed the tour making it shorter, less interesting, serve their low end wines, and basically took away what made it so much fun. In addition, they also pumped the price up so it is just not worth it... More

This place was amazing, the architecture and space was just beautiful. We did an awesome tasting here 6 wines for $30 and that included a small cheese platter. We had just come from Freemark Abbey and were very disappointed with that tasting, so when we arrived here we had no expectations. This is a MUST when going to Napa (this... More

Before you go, make an appointment for the tour of the wine caves & tasting. The wines were delicious and meats, cheeses and pizza. The entire facility was beautiful!

The tasting and tour is quite expensive but it was fun tour the caves and compare the same wine being aged in different barrels.

Went here to see the wine caves. It was expensive, 60 bucks a person. You get barrel tastings which is different. The tour was very cool. The wine was good, but didn't wow either of us and for the price per bottle I thought it should have. But of course we bought a bottle anyway, as most do. It felt... More

Having visited places like Silver Oak, Bell Winery, Sequoia Grove, and Goose Crossing, this was a little cheesy for us. The building and grounds were beautiful, but the "cave" was a long tunnel full of groups so it was hard to hear the guide. The tunnel is lined with barrels of wine, and the guide takes you down the tunnel,... More

We visited this Italian style vineyard. We had a wine tasting in the bar. We enjoyed the visit. It was ok for the price..
