We had a great tour in the DelDotto cave. We experienced many different of their "yet to be released" wines. The tour itself was very interesting, educational and the host was accommodating. And while I know wine tastes are an individual thing, you would be hard pressed to not find a wine here that you are crazy about. They have... More

Popped into the tasting room at Del Dotto unscheduled and walked out with $800 in wine. Frequent their website and have visited in past visits. Schedule a cave tour -- a very good experience. This winery has become very popular. Two locations in the valley. The original room off Atlas Creek is staffed by pros and down the block from... More

I was thoroughly disappointed with this winery. First we paid $120.00 for 2 people to tour the wine caves and taste wine. The cave was interesting to see since it was hand dug by Chinese immigrants in the 1800's. But basically you feel like you walk into a wine shop then out the back door into a cave. It's not... More

First: You WILL need a reservation. Second: A tasting will set you back $60 per person. Third: It is well worth the time and expenditure. Fourth: Did I mention that it was well worth the time and expenditure ? An excellent wine venue with top-quality vintages. Very heavy on the reds, light on the whites: truly a red wine lover's... Drink awesome wines and learn why the barrel makes a difference. Randy gave us a great tour and he was a lot of fun.

Ok, if you love style and higher end wines this is the place you want to try. The cave keeps the same temperature all year long, the barrel selection is amazing and the difference the barrel type (lightly smoked, versus "blackened") makes to the same wine and grapes is stunning. Del Dotto is not applying pressure, but just gravity to... More

They were able to squeeze in our group of 6 at the last minute and it was so worth it. We found a few wines that ended up being our favorites. Tastings of delicious wines straight from the barrel. The atmosphere was soo cool in the caves. Lots of interesting information. The only negative I had was at the end... More

This is the only place that served the wine straight from the barrel. The tour guide was informative and funny. You definately get your money's worth. I think we tasted at least ten wines, the most of any tour, which is in caves making it cool and comfortable

I've been here twice which is the only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 0. The first time we went here we were put in a group of ladies that were previous clients. They paid extra for a special tasting of more expensive wines but at the time we didn't realize there was a difference. The experience was... More

The tasting was a little pricey at $60 but was worth it. The tastings were directly out of the bottle and we tasted about 6 wines. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the wine was fabulous.
