If you want to get away from the touristy wineries and have a more personal wine tasting then make sure to visit Vine Cliff. We had a fantastic tour from Alex and learnt more than I have on my last few tours. The wines are fantastic and a good stop if you like Chardonnay as well as a very unique... More

We made a reservation for a personal wine tour, and we were treated wonderfully. The wines are great. We particularly enjoyed their Chardonnay and purchased a few bottles. David, our tour guide was very personable and knowledgeable. We had a teenager with us that couldn't drink wine, and David engaged him in the conversation too. We also had a picnic... More

My wife and I spent four nights in Napa (stayed in Yountville) for our honeymoon. We visited 10 wineries. Vine Cliff was one of our top three. We were the only tourists there when we went - it's nice not to be surrounded by hordes of people. We set up a nice picnic in their gardens, and enjoyed a box... More

We had the good fortune of visiting Wine Cliff in March. The tour was set up by Napa Tac, our guide for the day. Our group of four were the only visitors during our tour and the hosts could not have been more accommodating. Mary Anne is very knowledgeable and passionate about the winery and made us feel completely at... More

As frequent travelers to Napa over the past 15 years, we appreciate the small quality wineries with limited distribution. Loved this gorgeous place and the wine is noteworthy. The property is a "ghost winery" with caves dating to 1870's, and the owners are producing small lot wines with big style. Lunch under the trees overlooking a beautifully landscaped water feature... Excellent wine, but even better yet was the tour and the grounds. Beautiful scenery, and Bradley (our tour guide) was a fantastic host. We were greeted at the door with a glass of Chardonnay and the tour just got better from there. The people were excellent, the wine fantastic, and the grounds amazing. We will be back!

We didn't know anything about this winery but read a good review and got a last minute appointment from our hotel concierge. What a find! The grounds are spectacular, and Mary Anne brings that Southern charm from NC and really makes you feel special. Even though it was a rare miserably rainy day, she took us on a great tour... More

We had a great tour here. While we had just been "wowed" at another vineyard, this was one more elegant and relaxed. The grounds are absolutely beautiful! The two couples we toured with were so much fun and we interacted wonderfully with them. We explored their winemaking process, caves and our guide was more than accommodating in helping with pictures... More

We had a fantastic tour at Vine Cliff, our host MaryAnne really took care if us. We started the tour overlooking the beautiful scenery with a lovely Chardonnay. We then took the cave tour while sampling the reds. Then we entered the tasting room and finished with very limited release reds. Really felt like VIPs! Great information on the wines... More
