We have been going to shows here at this historic Napa Valley Opera House for years. We enjoy going. It is now run by the City Winery. As such, they now have dinners and more drinks with the shows they bring in. The show line up has also improved some with it now being part of the national City Winery... More

Every seat in the place is a great one. Wonderful acoustics, sweet staff, good food and tasty wine. Highly recommended :)

There are no "bad" seats in the house. The stairs we a little hard to navigate if you are unsure of your step. Be patient leaving, there is only one exit

We were huge and regular fans of the intimate Opera House venue where all the seats were good and COMFORTABLE. Really disappointed with the new incarnation as City Winery. Tables and chairs crowded in literally right up against the stage if you are unfortunate to have "front row" seats. You need to turn your chair awkwardly to the side to... More

I have had some of my best concert experiences here; Herb Alpert and Lani Hall, Indigo Girls, Bruce Hornsby. Solid accoustics with a very intimate setting make this a great place to really appreciate a musical performance.

Of course it would be as it's in Napa Valley - but great venue, loads of wine choices and good food. Went to see a live show, so you can eat your dinner whilst watching the show.

We came here for a group event and enjoyed an excellent meal along with live music. The food was small in size (by American standards) but superb in quality.

We went to see a Western swing band called Asleep at the Wheel. Their show was great. The venue holds 300 people and it was Sold out. They suggest you arrive a hour before the show to order dinner, although you may also order during the show. That's the problem. If you seat 300 people arriving at nearly the same... More

It is a beautiful historic building, too bad the screen is too small for the room especially if you are sitting more than halfway back or in the balcony. The sound system does not seem clear enough either. This was a surprise because, being the largest venue, it was the site for the Hollywood sneak peeks. Many of the smaller... More

Napa Opera House is a wonderful old 1870's beautifully restored theater. Staffed by volunteers and supported by the community and visitors. The programs throughout the year are varied and something for everyone. We attended the HAPA concert and it was a great musical experience. Tickets are very reasonable and theater is located in the heart of Napa (the City), CA... More
