Played Chardonnay in late August and had a great time. It was a unique course that wound through a vineyard and perched atop a hill overlooking Napa Valley. There are better rated courses in the area but none with a better view. The course conditions were very good. Be sure to book tee times online a few days in advance... More

Who imagined you could play golf in a vineyard? This is the place. After all, it is Napa Valley. The course is beautiful. I had to stop several times to take pictures. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The course is tough. It has six par threes, six par fours and six par fives. You'd better be on your... More

I would love to return to play again. Vineyards were visible throughout the course. Highly recommended.

Nice challenging course - friendly staff - would most definitely play there again - was a bit nippy when I played.

I've golfed Chardonnay before, and each time it seems to get a little more dated/tired. This course is located in a beautiful setting, but it seems like it has fallen on some tough times. We booked a tee time online, and when we got there, they had pushed us back stating that the online booking company made a mistake and... More

A challenging course. Set among vineyards, and several holes require precise shots over ravines. The colors change throughout the year. The staff is friendly, and welcoming. Simply a nice place to play!

This is a really beautiful golf course that is set in the midst of the grapevines, which are out of bounds. Any time of year it is beautiful with lovely views of the valley. The grapevines change color in the fall. Hole 7, a par 3, made the list of 100 best holes on public courses in America. One drives... More

From what I have been told this was once a great course. It was 36 holes, down to 27 now 18. The best way to describe this course is a course fallen on hard times. It was not in great shape, slow play and the greens made no sense. Although it cost near to nothing to play, I recommend finding... More

You might not think to eat at the Chardonnay Golf Club, but they have wonderful brunch dishes. It is never crowded here, which is too bad, because the food is great. The views are beautiful too overlooking the green golf course. Service is good also. Give them a try - you won't be sorry.
