Laid back, informal cellar on the quieter more scenic Silverado Trail. No reservations needed and the wines were delicious. I tried 5 reds and all of them were great, especially the Clarinet! If you are looking for a less commercial winery this is a perfect option.

This is a Spartan operation with a well informed staff. We sampled the new arrivals and the tasting fee was waived for every $20-25 spent on wine. This was an interesting start to our journey North on the Silverado trail.

The staff and the vineyard are truly unique with wonderful original sculptures, beautiful scenery, artwork, chickens, a vegetable garden, organic eggs, etc. This was a lot of fun to visit for a wine tasting. Everything is organic and relaxed.

We stopped at three small wineries on our tour and this was by far our most favorite! Great staff, very friendly and easy going. The wines were very reasonably priced and we didn't try one that we didn't like. The place was packed by the time we left. Definitely liked that they let us revisit certain wines we were thinking... This was the 3rd stop on the Green Dream Tour we took. This is noted as one of the few if any kosher wineries that exist though most people that visit aren't kosher I'm told. The tasting room is rather small with an open aired seating area around back in case you get claustrophobic. They'll wave the tasting fee if... More

We love the staff in the tasting room! We stopped here on a tour in April and wound up coming back for more wines the next day. We came back to Napa in August and this of course was a stop and this time we couldn't resist joining the wine tour. We met the winemaker and his son (they even... More

Recently my husband and I visited Hagafen Cellars for a wine tasting. This winery offers a simple tasting---no tours. We enjoyed the experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The wines, we tried only reds, were all very good. If you buy a bottle of wine, the tasting fee is waived. Very nice incentive.

Had a great time with the wine tastings and all of the staff were very pleasant. We got to try just about 10 wines on the wine list. The best part is they wave the wine tasting fee if you buy a bottle! Very rare for a place to do so. We bought two wines, a Chardonnay and a Pinot... More

We went here as part of our Napa/Sonoma tour. This was the last winery of the tour, so I must admit that we were a little "happy" after all our previous wine tastings. This wine of this house has been served on several occasions at the White House; with all the reason... its wine is very good. The have one... More

We shared the reserve red tasting. Both of us only liked the last two wines but thought they seemed a little on the pricy side. I do note the tasting area is in a lovely whimsical garden so you might enjoy it. Maybe their specialty might be white wines but I didn't try any whites here.
