We say Rich Robinson, I think is his name, Was in the Black Crowes I think. There were 2 bands that played before him that were of the caliber of a High school musical try out. Rich seemed to play the guitar well, but the music didn't really have a beat. He wanted everyone to stand up and dance, was... More

Our tour guide knew his business and answered all questions asked of him. The wines weren't bad either.

The Uptown Theatre is a great addition to Napa Downtown. The venue stars many big name entertainers in a comfortable and well appointed theater. The acoustics are very good and the floor plan allows for great viewing no matter where you sit.

Saw Gregg Allman at the Uptown. This is a majestically restored movie theatre, wide aisles and not a bad seat in the house. We ate before we went to the concert but really wished we hadn't. There is a Cafe in the theatre that is reasonably priced and looking at people's plates, it looked good. This venue actually Encourages drinking... More

Wonderful venue... Great food and drink value. The sound board on Saturday did a terrible job. When a retired Music Professor made a suggestion to improve sound quality she was threatened with being thrown out by a wanna be biker looking thug. Cooler heads prevailed. An unfortunate stain on a wonderful weekend of music and entertainment.

So sorry your show experience was tainted by your interaction regarding the sound. Unfortunately that evening the sound board was controlled by Los Lonely Boys sound engineers. We are very proud of our sound quality as evidenced by the many comments and reviews all favoring the sound quality at Uptown.. Even better yet, our sound staff are so highly desired,... More

Awesome venue ! Every seat is a awesome seat! We had a amazing time we sat in the center third row. The employees were so kind and funny. They made us feel like they wanted us there.

I came here 2 nights for the Live in the Vineyard event which was awesome on its own, and this theater was a nice surprise. I am not sure of the history, although I am sure it is rich, but this place is smaller than I though (PRO) and the sound is good. What else do you need? Lobby never... More

The Friday night concert included Fitz and the Tantrums. They had a lot of energy and put on a great show. The real down side was Mary Lambert. Watching and listening to her is like having a root canal.

We attended the Boz Scaggs concert in Feb. The concert was incredible, the sound system was out-of-this-world and the theatre was opulent! I can't say enough about it. Upon entering the building through the swinging front doors you were transposed to a different era. It was a step back in time. We had been told that the theatre had undergone... More
