The indifferent staff at Paraduxx pairs well with their indifferent wines. There was little opportunity to ask questions because the staff hardly interacts with the clientele. Instead, postcards are placed under the wine glass with the wine specs. The wines themselves are ordinary and nondescript. Fortunately this was the only disappointing winery out of the 8 that we visited.

Paraduxx is a lovely stop on the Silverado Trail. Charming atmosphere - have your tasting on the patio if the weather is nice. John made our visit - he was affable and helpful. We liked the Z blend the best. Wouldn't splurge for the cheese/charcuterie unless you're really hungry - it doesn't add that much to the experience.

This is a beautiful winery with a relaxed atmosphere. We sat in the garden on couches and were brought all of our tastings at once. This was nice, because we could take our time and compare the wines without a stranger standing there. The regular tasting was $30 each by appt. only. We liked the wines but have learned you... More

We were able to visit (with a reservation) Paraduxx over Memorial Day weekend. Agustin was our server and he was perfect. We sat in the sun and enjoyed many different wines. No rush. Just easy and comfortable. Can't wait to go back!

Hello Tronconeslover, Thank you for the kind words and for joining us over the busy Memorial Day Weekend. Making a reservation was a smart move for that weekend. I'm pleased to know that Agustin took great care of you at your own pace. Thank you for including Paraduxx in your Napa visit and we look forward to seeing you again.... More

Beautiful grounds to sit back and taste the wines. Have been here a few times because we love the atmosphere. Most of the wines are average but there are a few jewels in the mix. Friendly staff.

There was a beautiful and spacious inside tasting room that allowed for sit-down tastings. There was also comfortable outdoor seating area that looked perfect for tastings. We weren't able to sit outside because all the outdoor seats were taken. My husband and I love Duckhorn and Decoy. I enjoyed all of the wines we tasted at Paraduxx, but none of... More

We like Duckhorn wines (good wines but pricey), and have purchased Decoy (nice for its price point) so we decided to try Paraduxx to round out our tastings. While none of the wines were a clear "buy" it was interesting to try their blended wines and we learned something about what various grapes bring to wine.

Hi Karen, Thank you for your recent feedback. Sorry to hear that the 2011 Paraduxx Blends probably weren't the ones for you this visit, but I am glad to know that you are familiar with the Duckhorn and Decoy label and enjoy those. That's the beauty of creating different wines among the different wine labels within Duckhorn Wine Company to... More

Ok, I think the 35 dollar price tag is high, but you will savor the experience, at least on a nice day. A wonderful patio and outside area with comfy chairs. The pours are generous and all the reds come at once for back and forth taste tests. There are so many places to taste, I'm not sure I will... More

Hi Xpatsuitcase, Thank you for your feedback. I am happy that you enjoyed the atmosphere and our blends. We would love to have you back for another visit and this time if you take advantage of the "Winery Finder" app between 10am and Noon, the tastings are buy one, get one. Best Regards, Josh Hadix-Hixon More

Paraduxx was one of three wineries I went too in Napa. And it was fine. There was nothing particularly bad about it, but it was a very hands off tasting experience. They brought all the tastings out at once, gave us information cards about each one, and then that was pretty much the extent of our interaction. If you're looking... More

I've been a fan of Duckhorn, Decoy and Paraduxx for over a decade. I love visiting their newest flagship (?) location. Architecture is stunning. Very Welcoming as you arrive. Beautiful grounds. The whole ambiance is complete relaxation. Even with 2 teens and 2 Chihuahuas, we were warmly greeted and fully attended to - and they were BUSY. We were given... More
