This is the best winery to hit. Beautiful place and the wine will knock your socks off. Less is more in my opinion. We booked a tasting that was affordable and AMAZING! The staff there is so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Most important it is not just a tasting, it's an experience. We had booked our afternoon with Travis and... More

We came here on a recommendation from another winery and so glad we did. We were fortunate that the staff was able to squeeze us in. The staff was very knowledgeable, personal and a ton of fun. We had a wonderful time and the wines are among our new favorites.

This is a lovely, intimate winery. There are little alcoves to sit and enjoy your tastings and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Rachel & Dustin made our time there great! Best to make an appointment for your tasting in advance, but it is worth the effort.

There are some gorgeous wines in the tasting stable but don't get caught out - tasting is by appointment only. The cellar door is charming and the staff are friendly and knowledgable. The only draw-back is no gift shop, but that might be a good thing for many!

We got a tip from one of our wine tours that we should visit James Cole Winery and what a great suggestion it was. We tried 5 or 6 really nice wines and made a purchase at the end of the trip of a mixed case of our favorites. The guide was very friendly and showed us around the winery... More

A great winery to visit. The staff is extremely friendly and outgoing. One of our most fun winery visits overall.

A friend of mine introduced me to James Cole Winery a couple years ago while I still lived in Washington State. I was hooked from that point on and knew I had to visit the winery as soon as I could. Moving to California made that goal easier. When starting down the Silverado Trail from the south end in Napa,... More

And they have great wines, too! Nice tasting room, very relaxing, very groovy! We enjoyed the chard, and the music, and the servers.

We added this as our last stop one a wine tour after our friends recommended it. We made and appointment and accidentally went to the house first instead of the tasting room. This mishap made us a few minutes late for our appointment in the tasting room. When we arrived to the tasting room we were actually scolded for being... More

We recently visited for a wine tasting and found the wines to be very average. This wasn't helped by the poor presentation of the two girls delivering the tasting who seemed very 'light' on wine varietals and world history of wines. The tasting itself was expensive.
