We went there to check out the views and to see if we could see San Francisco from there. We could make out the buildings downtown, but it wasn't completely clear. We didn't taste here, but the grounds are pretty cool and modern. We did buy a bottle of 2005 Cabernet at JV Warehouse before leaving, but we haven't tried... more

My husband and I visited this winery in 2008. The grounds are really nice - it's a very modern winery and interesting from an architectural perspective. The wine, however, is just terrible. I like wine but am not persnickety enough to have very particular taste, but this was really lousy. And I'm really reasonable - the $10 bottle of Folie... more

The Artesa winery is in a very distinct, modern building with great views. The tasting room is spacious with a very nice patio and also a courtyard that you can enjoy. If you want something a bit different from the other wineries in Napa, and don't mind driving a bit out off the main route, this is well worth the... more

This winery is a little bit off the beaten path, and that is probably what makes it special. The tasting room is perched on the top of a hill with extraordinary views of the surrounding hills and valleys. As you walk up the stairway from the parking lot to the tasting room, water flows by from the pools above. When... more

Truly amazing 360 deg. view! We bought a glass of sparkling wine which was just delicious...and had it in the patio. The artwork outside was unique but the winery itself was very ordinary. However, a must visit for the view... at least you don't need to pay for the view like Sterling does! more

I'm not entirely sure why Artesa is as high up on TripAdvisor's attractions list as it is. Yes, the views are nice, yes, the grounds are pretty, but I think other wineries in the area are prettier (Mondavi, Domaine Carneros, and more). Really it's not that remarkable, but it does provide some nice views so if you are in the... more

Recently visited Artesa during a wine-tasting trip to Napa and Sonoma. Artesa is definitely a stand-out. Slightly out of the way location. The tasting center is modern with interesting artwork, pools, and fountains. The view of the valley is excellent. Good wines and a nice varied selection available for the tasting. Tasting fees are $10 for the standard selection and... more

We visited Artesa in May of 08. We found the view from the visitor's center amazing. If I was getting married in Napa, this would be the place to do it. But the wine was just fair. The $10 tasting fee was all I was willing to spend here. more

After our lunch at Carneros in Sonoma, this was our second stop for some wine tasting in the area. The weather was beautiful yesterday in the wine country, we found Artesa to be a delightful winery. There are fountains everywhere and the views of the vineyards and surrounding area is stunning. The winery is very large with lots of nice... more

I can't say that they have the best wine, but what i will say is that it is by far the most amazing view in Napa. Simply incredible! It was so amazing, i proposed to my girlfriend there. We like the wine even though we know there are better places in Napa, but no place beats the view. Hands down... more
