After all the great reviews, I feel a little churlish writing a negative one. However, I was very disappointed by Domaine Carneros. The winery is an impressive building with a pleasant terrace, but it is plagued by continuous noise from the road below. Don't come here expecting great views and tranquility. We've always enjoyed stopping at Domaine Carneros. They have some of the friendliest staff in the Valley, they are generous with their pours, they stay open longer hours than most, and the grounds are beautiful. No appointment is needed, and they are also happy to accomodate guests on tours at the last minute, subject to capacity. The tours are informative... more

Went there in November on a weekday. Lovely view. If it wasn't so cold that day, we (2 of us) would have had some champagne outside. Used our Copia passport for a discount on the tastings and the staff were very willing to accept. Attentive waitstaff and very knowledgable. Would recommend spending an hour here when you can. more

One of our favorite stops during a long weekend in Napa. We sampled three excellent Pinot Noirs while enjoying the terrific view from their lovely terrace. Our table server, who spoke in a lovely thick French accent, was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly.
