Spent $30 each for the tour for myself and 5 other adults. The tour is pretty basic but if you never had a knowledge of how champagne is made, this was adequate. Very touristy. The Tour guide (already a Senior guide) is not knowledgeable. The other people joining our tour are all Beginners – this is probably their first ever wine tasting! The Guide end up chatting on and on with the others about random stuff totally unrelated to wine – he didn’t even notice when we got so impatient and left... More

Domaine Carneros specializes in sparkling wine and was a subsidiary of Taittinger, of Champagne until recently. The facility is well designed to allow visitors to see the fermantation, riddling, and bottling of product. The staff (especially Al) are educated and enthusiastic.
