We enjoyed our lunch on the wine train. We booked the Vista Dome car, which was definitely worth the extra cost. Lunch included an appetizer, soup or salad, an entree and desert. Entree selections included beef, salmon, pork and even a vegetarian entree. Service was fabulous. Setting was elegant with white tablecloths and napkins. I would definitely do this again!

I thought it was a cute idea, but never thought we would get the 5 course meal we received! Awesome! It was so beautiful and historic. The restored train cars were unbelievable. You could sit in any car and have a cocktail. You felt like you were back in the day.

For those traveling to Napa, everyone needs experience the beauty of the countryside and vineyards at sunset aboard this train that offers a five star dining experience . It is well worth making reservations for the vista dome (200/person). Yes it Is more expensive, but you have a dedicated wait staff, and fantastic views. Would highly recommend for couples.

Nice trek through Nappa Valley. I imagined the train crossing the vineyards, but it traveled parallel to the road, both there and back - scenery was same unfortunately. All in all, views were spectacular and lunch served on train was delicious - top-notch service by staff. Awesome, one-time experience for the novice Nappa Valley visitor!

We enjoyed the Wine Train, the service was great, our service staff member was very knowledgeable about the wine and the area. The main meal was good, the starter was average and dessert good. We took the gourmet car, we had requested to eat on the way back, for some reason that was not possible( even though we had booked... More

I thought the train was going to go up and around the mountains. Silly me, it just went in a straight line parallel to the road and this was for the trip I booked online, well in advance. We were seated with strangers and after we met were lovely people. The food was good and the waitstaff was very well... More

The views from the train are great. The food is average. The service is excellent. Our biggest issue was that we had earlier done the Napa wine tour (4 wineries) and were very tired. The gentle rocking of the train made it difficult to stay awake ; ) Other than that, I would recommend it if you are looking for... More

Three girls out celebrating a birthday. What an amazing, first class time we had. The food, service and atmosphere was perfect. Not to mention the beautiful train. Will be back soon for another ride. Thanks again.

Wine trAin - iris is the lady who accompanied us to the castle, petar our waiter and carol the reservation agent ... I did not feel i received what i paid for. The ticket was much more expensive than the product served. I am basing my answer on the quality and size of the served portion, the free things offered,... More
